He REALLY backed himself into a corner with shutting down the most popular TV station. He's got people demonstrating in the streets, teargas, rubber bullets, injured cops, etc........

He's "tried" to put it across to his "new allies" like N. Korea, Iran, Cuba that he's this hard line take no shit sort of guy. So what's a poor dictator to do? IF he orders the armed forces to use violent means he'll probably be put under arrest again.....they won't shoot on their own people. If he does nothing it will esculate and he'll look like a leader with no control to his....LOL....allies. If he lets the station reopen........his allies will deem him as the biggest pussy in the west and he more/less becomes the joke of the world.

Something on this order would be the same as if Bush were to ban all stations except for FOX and then rid FOX of any left wing influence. If this were to happen we wouldn't have to worry about the level of lake Okeechobee in Florida.......all we'd have to do is ship a couple thousand dems down there and whalla.....the lake of tears.

Hateful??? They amuse me to much to hate them. As for the lack of grey matter between the ears........ain't it a bitch when the gray goes to balding?

I do notice thought that you still haven't addressed the Chavez thing here.....hmmmm, damn near makes me think you may have liked the man or something.....LOL, that would make that outside layer of the oreo cookie I told ya about.

I'm not hep to closing TV or Radio stations, that's for sure, and if thats the game Chavez is playing, he just lost me as a supporter. I was impressed with what his agenda seemed to be, IE bringing up the standard of living for everyone, but taking away the oppositions voice is a definent No-No. The world doesn't need any more dictators, GW Bush is enough!~LOL~ BTW, no balding here, just lots of white hair, I'd dye it, but the wrinkles would give me away anyway.
