Where does LSD come from and how do u make it???

im actually wondering the same thing, i know all about its affects, how to use it, etc. but i really am not sure where it comes from or how its made. if i had to guess though, i would say that it is grown as a type of fungus. thats what some kid at my school says at least, but dont take my word for it. peace.

lsd is synthesised, its a totally artificial chemical.

LSA grows in certain seeds and fungi.

it comes from a synth process using Ergotomine Tartate(Spelling on this might be fucked) which is made from Ergot a fungus that grows on rye and other grains.

LSD can be made in a variety of ways.
It just matters how smart the chemist is.
If you got the right starting materials and the right reagents and equiptment, then the chemist may be able to sythesize it.
Can be synthesized from "Ergot of rye" somehow.
Ergot is poisonous fungus that grows in wheat and rye fields.
From the different compounds present in "Ergot fungus" LSD can be synthesiszed.

There are different compounds in ergot called "ergot derivatives" or ergot alkaloids some of them poisonous and some "druggy".
I cannot type any more at this point cause I am not an expert in LSD synthesis.
They are many path routes.
Once you find a pathway to a hallucinogenic drug you eventually find a path to another more complex one.
So... Amphetamines are a good place to start. Like MDA or something.
Then the chemist finds another path and he continues.

I think it's called clavicepts.
Its a fungus and these alkaloids are in the fungus that grows on the grain.
Everybody got sick and they found out it was the fungus on the grain. "Ergot"
And they studied it for sometime, mabey years.
And finally Stoll, Hoffman, and other professores found the answer.
Hoffman made LSD.
Hoffman did not know that he had a hallucinogenic substance until he spilled it on his hand and later started to hallucinate.

i still don't recommend it though (even though i'll probably do it again next time, but bump the 5htp down to about 150mg instead of 500mg)

And yeah, LSD is usually taken from Ergot. Remembe the Salem Witch Trials when all the little girls ate the rye bread from the feilds? The rye was infected with ergot and they were tripping w00t.
