Hard for me to know what my favorite strain is, I am the only person I have known who has ever grown, I have only Grown bag seed. I have never known the strain of anything I have ever smoked. My Guess would be that my favorite Strain if known would be a pure sativa.

Tuff call between two strains...KC 33 because of its fantastic high and the best tasting smoke i've ever had...NL b/c its a crippling body stone that dazes the mind...KC 33 tastes better but Northern Lights just couchlocks me!

Thanks for the post guys i hope to get a few more, would really like to see whats everyone's favorite strain.

For me though i think it would have to be ak-47! Out of the very few strains i've smoked this one had me locked to the couch and i was giggling out of my mind. It was an awesome high so im looking to grow this and others for my next grow.

Out of the ones i've tried it has to be Sensi star. It's a powerful indica strain. After smoking it the effects made me feel like i was made out of jelly. I had so much pleasure going through my body and mind i practically almost cried, no kidding.

AK-47 has to be a close second if i'm in the mood for sativa. It gives out an electric feeling and makes me extremely horny.

GDS I have a strain suggestion and it is not very specific...
You should browse around for strains that have northern lights or skunk #1 in their very recent heritage.
I know this sounds like, oh BOOOO-RING!!! but there's a good reason for it!
Some of the nifty new strains are not so easy to grow, or were bred for something SO specific, such as a certain effect or flavor, that ultimately overall yield/vigor might not have been important to the breeder as much as that one really unusual trait.
So my suggestion is to stick with a plant that you know has a very strong background that makes it relatively easy to grow. I think you will be very much happier that way. And NL is not a slouch of a strain itself!
Other strong ones are Afghanis, and Pure Power Plant, which has commercial yield potential but still the buds are beautiful and smell like earthy dank.
I would not say this if I didn't follow my own advice, and currently my grow includes a couple Afghani crosses, a few NL crosses, pure NL and Skunk #1, PPP, and a MTF that I keep around for it's indestructible-ness. Because IMHO good homegrown is ALWAYS yummy, and a good healthy plant is your best asset!
Then when you want your fancy fruity whatever strains, you still have a backup plan.

papaya and and strawberry haze were the best all around I have had. papaya k.o.'ed me and strawberry haze was really up beat and a major head high.

Thanks Stinky i'll definitely take your advice and get a few of those strains. I was just asking around for everyone's favorite because i want to buy a strain that i havent tried and can really enjoy.

I havent tried PPP though neither any Afghani's so i think i'll still be in for a treat!

stinky where do you recommend i get the strains from and can i grow them together and induce flowering together. I only have one grow closet so i need to be able to take them through all the steps together at one time. I know some may take longer to flower than others and thats no prob for me just want to be able to flower all of them together and i dont want to shortcut any of the plants because i didnt veg them long enough, so how long do you veg as well?

I can recommend F1 seeds from Holland....White strains if growing indoors.

White Widow/Rhino....harvested in three phases:...early, prime and late....:thumbsup:....

I've just been getting the basics (skunk, NL, PPP) from seedboutique- Nirvana Standard- and then the fancy stuff from Rushman or Cannaseur.

You can grow multiple strains together but if you are limited on space, or only running 1 room/box, I'd suggest limiting yourself to strains with REALLY similar listed flower times.

As for veg time, it's up to you and depends what your space is like or if you want to train. I'd go at least 6 weeks from seed, or until the nodes are alternating, but look around and see what people are doing.

I have some NL5 x Haze right now. Great smoke. Very long lasting high as well. :thumbsup: Picked it up today. I just smoked half a pinner and at first didnt feel much then was nicely stoned for like 3 hours lol. A good functional high too.

After listening to stinky...i went back to the basics with my seed order...Afghani, Northern Lights, Aurora Indica (NL x Afg.)...went with papaya cuz its also 100%indica...I LOVE INDICAS...went also with Mandala's Sadhu, Satori and Hashberry...i struggle with anxiety and their strains are supposively bred for anti-anxiety/depression characteristics...Hashberry another indica...Sadhu is mostly indica and Satori b/c the breeders rave bout this strain (my only plant that is majority sativa)...hope all goes well with this lil variety i have...went with the basics from Nirvana and grabbed some special strains from Mandala...like short squat plants that are good producers...great advice stinky :jointsmile:

I can agree stinky rawks and has probably been the most help to me on this board and i've noticed that she has been really helpful to alot of others as well.

Thanks stinky im picking up the three strains you listed and hopefully i can get the nl5xhaze. I'm also gonna grab the aurora indica for my drip system grow. After reading those post by steve and reaper, i'm definately gonna have to try the nl5xhaze it seems like an awesome smoke.

I do know that properly cured Bubble Gum (Serious Seeds) smells like Bazooka Joe once you get by the hashy smell. Pretty good yield too.

For me there really is no doubt.It will be Cinderella 99.Fast,so strong it can be almost to much sometimes(then you smoke less):) and a good yield.
And funny enough (and very grrreat) I found it again 2 months ago in Amsterdam.One of the underground seed vendors have the pineapple pheno.Its f 4´s.Im waiting for my seeds as we speak.
The ones I have in my gro room right now should be Cindy too,but they are bought from a Danish seed vendor,and although some of the caracteristics fits(very low odeur,tropical scent) fits,I will have to wait until harvest to see how good they are.

The tall ones to the right is Skunk#1.(also a favourite).
The first pic show some of the plants (Cindy) I have now.They are 3 weeks there.

Well i have ordered Some NL and PPP from seedboutique ( Nirvana Standard) and now im kinda starting to regret it. I've been reading around the forum and it seems as if other breeders sell NL as well and it seems like some of the more expensive seeds from some of those breeders seem to be better genetically.

Are the Nirvana Seeds just as good as others? Also the prices kinda make me think that they are below average as well!

I am currently growing both of those.
The PPP is fabulous. I think it's an IBL anyway so hard to fuck up breeding, lol!
The NL is still young but I got a pair of twins out of the pack!

A word of advice for growing Nirvana stuff:

It's solid. But take clones of EVERY plant, flower through, and save the genetics of the best female you get. I've found great plants and absolute SHIT (herms, blech) in the same seed pack. Save the good ones and you've got a DEAL!

For the grow, it is currently Grapefruit- good yeild, finish in 45 days and gr8 uplifting high.

Its funny,its like almost ALL seasoned smokers,prefer Sativa.I do too.I can enjoy a good Indica in the evening,but a good racy Sativa is simply so good.
I grow Cinderella-99 at the moment,but when Im done in around a month,I will continue with this strain.The Sativa high is sooo good,and when they flower they are done in about 55 days.Hard to beat indeed.Here they are in 3 week of flowering.

Thanks bud,I flip myself.But if you think about it,its Cindy.She is finish in 55 days.But they ARE fast.;)The 6,they have gone 1 month.I will post some pix later,but when that photo was taken,I think they where 24 days old in flowering.

My set up,is a 400 watt HPS,with an exstreme bulb (58.000 lumen),and a Lumatek ballast.Especially the ballast really turned the lumens up.It was obvious.So I think I´m the neighbourhood of a 600 watt using a normal magnetic ballst,especially together with the strong bulb.
If you do the same to a 600 watt,it should be very close to a 1000 watt.I think its withinn 10%.
I´ll be back with more pix.:thumbsup:

another vote for Cinderella 99 and hybrids, thereof ... she rocks, that's all I can say ... got my own hybrid of her finishing in 49 days, and that aroma !! ... I'm serious, I wish they had air freshener that smells this nice :D ... Northern Lights is another gem, that is often overlooked ... funny how NL isn't constantly mentioned, but it winds up in so many famous hybrids ... good stuff, and so easy to grow ... :smokin:

Yes isnt it true?The smell is out of this world.The best pheno I have smells like a mix of grapefruit and pineapple,but the most exciting is the cannabinoid profile.I have never seen anything like this.I tried to smoke a couple of mini buds from the lower branches,and damn!:stoned:

I have taken clones of them all,but the best plant have been cloned,so I will use that one for future clones.:thumbsup:

I dunno,maybe 200 dry grams,something in that neighbourhood.But I had to start up.When I start to grow clones the yield will be bigger.This is seed plants,and with only 5 weeks of veg.:jointsmile:

I did a quick look around and did not find the genetic makeup, but I have seen trainwreck plants 'in the flesh' and can assure you that it does not fit the profile of 'the purest sativa ever'.

There are not many that carries Cindy.At least not a good one.But maybe there is one chance.Try Reeferman in Holland.Im waiting for Cindy seeds from him.But I know he have plans in the future,to cross it with a Cambodian strain,so its name will be:Cam 99.But until further his homepage still say they are in stock.
I think that will be your best shot getting a good pheno.
The seeds Im growing at the moment,was bought from a Danish seed vendor.When I bought them,I was suspicious,but when they went in flower I had to surrender.They where genuine.:dance:

Cam1 x C99 (Cambo C99)

"The Cam c-99 cam 1 and cam 3 the cambodian lines are some of my best sativas worked for many many years the cam 1 and cam 3 were both polinated by the same c-99 males the cam 1 is stouter and heay yeilding with a more indica profile the cam 3 is taller more sparse with a really amazing in your eyes high these were the 2 best plants from hundreds grown out . some plants flower as fast as 8 weeks to 11 weeks they all yeild very nice top notch sativa dominant that grows more like a indica ! "
