I am presently no great fan of Growshop Alien, BUT, after a couple of years of SERIOUS reading and researching on various forums, I have seen only a few negatives regarding Alien (including my own negative experience), but, to be fair, I have seen MANY complaints with Dr. Chronic - while most people seem to receive their products from Dr. Chronic, 'crushed-seed' complaints, and unwanted 'substitutions' are pretty common -
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 'HEMP DEPOT' - I am in no way connected with them, and they do tend have higher prices than some sources, but they have been outstanding for me in several dealings - for budget killer seeds, check out their 'Joey Weed' seeds, as far as I know, Hemp Depot is the only source for Joey Weed beans - my honest rating :smokin:

i've used both...Alien the majority of the time cuz they give freebies (NLx which rocks) and has great customer service so i'd give em two thumbs up...but i've also used the Doc a few times with great results but he's only sent me freebies once :( but he still gets two thumbs up...close call...Doc will get em to ya bout a wk earlier tho if you're in a hurry

well i placed an order with the doc last wk...got no confirmation e-mail...so i've e-mailed twice with no response...go with alien...i'll never use the doc again

I also, highly recommend Joey Weed seeds. I've had crushed seeds from Dr. C, but he is fast and probably if you ask for them not to use a cd case you might be o.k. If you read a thread here called "my full report on growshopalien", you will see them exposed on the second page as inept. Basically, they ripped me off. Also have seen numerous post about GSA, not sending the balance of a multi pack orders, and later, when the client complains on board they will say, oh we were waiting for you to contact us and then we will send the balance. That's the way they operate, I guess if you never ask for the balance you never get it! Read the refered to thread you'll see! I should have sent many argumentative emails and maybe I could have been treated fairly?

Luvtogrow, now your just being silly. I understand u blaim the non-germination of your seedpacket on our company, thats okay. We didn't make em, but we take responsibilty for it. Maybe we didnt offer enough service for you and made a mistake. But spreading lies is a little to much. Your just saying things that are totally false and u know nothing about.

We split up large orders to be safe and secure, putting all eggs in one basket, i don't like. Implying we are somewhat dishonest by doing that, i don't understand.

while I have you here, you can answer this: why did you send me an opened package of Barney's Willie Nelson seeds ? (which were no good), and, why did you publicly state here that Barney's won't stand behind their seeds, BUT, you continue to sell his shit ? ... also, while I had good results with your freebie Sour Jack seeds, why would you think your offer to send a customer some 'freebie' seeds can replace high-dollar designer seeds that they didn't receive ? .... inquiring minds want to know :wtf:

I will say that growshopaliens customer support worked for me , I recieved all my seeds (and then some) and they were packaged well.

freewheelinfrank; you said in my thread titled "my full report on growshop alien" that the willie nelson seeds you ordered where "non-viable" , well at least one must have been viable because the willie nelson mother plant you have from those seeds must have been viable because I see that you are using it as a mother plant and even said it was from that batch of seeds GSA sent you. In my thread you acted like none germinated when come to find out in the closet thread you have; you show a photo of the willie nelson mother and even say how you have made 43 clones off it. I can understand you being pissed about a low germinating batch of seeds but you made it seem in my thread that you had none germinate at all. I wish you would have at least mentioned that in my thread. Your still ok in my book just wish you would let the forum readers have an unbiased post.

All in all the doc , gypsy , cannaseur(for tga subcool) alien and hempdepot (for joey weed) are all reliable banks I would trust with my money.

as a note: I have been successfully growing mj since 1966 - I nurtured one Willie Nelson seed to germination, it took almost a full month on the heating pad, the whole shot- all seeds were visibly immature, but were old enough, that they should have germinated readily - other seeds enclosed in the same package germinated immediately (8hrs), so X-rays, etc., can't be blamed for their non-viability - it is entirely unacceptable, when Alien couldn't bother to respond to either of my polite e-mails, several days apart - unacceptable when breeders pack comes opened, scotch-taped shut, and an enclosed corner scissored off of the original Barneys hologram label - spend your money wherever you like, Alien will have no more of mine, or my partners money - 'nuff said about that :smokin:

Im glad you was able to save at least one seed , so at least it wasnt a total waste of money. Dunno why they sent the seeds that way either; maybe the barney seeds package is awkward shaped like sensi seeds bubble packs?

I am going to try out some joey weeds strains from hempdepot as my next purchase though.

I just gonna say that i thank you for the compliment, after all ,the free seeds u received made by us are great quality and we actually have an impact over this product.

i like ordering from nirvana (nirvana-shop.com) because they have the prices of the cheap sites, but better quality product i think. The only downside is that they only sell their own seed varieties since they are a breeder.

ordered california orange from growshop alien. just got my seeds yesterday after 8 days of waiting. right on target for when they said they'd get here (7-9 days shipping). also got 6 freebie seeds, nlx.

no need to use customer support but the seeds look good and healthy...hopefully they grow into females :) (Although a hermie wouldn't be bad, more seeds:hippy: ) good packaging, no smashed seeds either.
