I am a gardener in an area where the houses are owned by millionare's (and a few billionares) and they are only there for 4 weeks out of the year. When do they all come around? Memorial day weekend, I can't even begin to explain the amount of planting and maintenance that had to get done in so little time.

And the heat, the heat became unbearable.

I just woke up this morning and I realize it is saturday, and I get to relax finally. Anyone else just working so hard that it is nothing but work and sleep during the week with really lowkey weekends?

Love the summer, but I can't wait for the winter.

I probably only really graft for a few hours a day, but within the next few weeks i'll be working everyday non stop in the heat.

Damnit - Why does everyone choose to go on holiday when the kids are off school and the weathers good - it makes my job so much more *fun*

I can't say I work as hard as you guys but those ten hour shifts at the sub shop can really get aggravating when business is slow. Usually, I will find something to occupy my time but that results in a shortage of cigarettes. I finally found a job that is suitable for me, one that I merely have to attend, make a few hundred subs and take it easy. No hard work here. I should be more grateful. Haha...Change is not likely when you are spoiled to the core. And it only makes transformation that much more painful.
