Hey gang! I have some outdoors going and I JUST transplanted from 9" party cups to a much larger size. How large should the pots be? Please explain by inch and depth please; because I've heard a 3 gallon pot should do it but they don't really say the volume at the store :(..........Help would be appreciated!

i'm assuming you can't put them right in the ground, eh? cuz that would be best

there are two types of rules of thumb: 1gal for every month it's alive, or 1gal for every 1ft it grows; that might help ya: don't sweat it to much, eh? i'm turning canadian :)

Ha ha, maybe you are! As much as I'd like to put them in the ground I really can't do it. But again, do you happen to know depth and maybe radius for these gallon pots? All the gardening places just say the radius at the top.....no volume! Thanks in advance!

get a #5 pot at your local nursery (they call them 5 'gallon', but they're probably more like 3 gallon capacity, and called a " #5 ") - IF I grew outside, I would almost have to use a pot, either above-ground, or buried, to defeat the friggin' gophers here - they're thick as flies - :wtf:
