So the other day I come home from work, and my boyfriend to my surprise had actually cleaned the house, done laundry, and did the recycling. I was stoked.
It's just ....some things I don't get sometimes He was all excited about the note he left me in the dust on the television saying "I love you"..okay yeah thats sweet and all..
But...what I really want to know is...Why the hell he didn't clean the dust off the tv INSTEAD of writing me sweet notes?
It's just funny to me that he wouldn't think to clean the dust off.
Is anyone with me on this?

Give him a break he did all the rest. I didn't even know you had to dust a tv, so he probably had no idea either.

Well that is it!
You need to dump him right now and never speak to him again!
Is there something else going on here?
Just does not seem like a big deal.

Hey guys..
I'm not pissed off in the least.
I just think it's funny....because you are exactly right...he probably didn't even think about it...the thought probably didn't even occur to him.
I just think it's funny....
...I'm not mad at all..in fact I am really appreciative of him...hes the best! :) not only did he do all that stuff but he also bought me a new bong stem that is a glass on glass with a diffused stem. It rocks.

Sounds like you got a keeper.
Men and women just see things differently I suppose. We usually are clueless about cleaning.

Read this one in readers digest....wife sends hubby (who has phd in statistics) to store for quart of milk. Hubby comes back w/no milk. Why?
They only had pints at the store.

I had a massive dust argument with my GF the other day, it was my scheduled day to clean the house.
Anyway, she couldn't understand why everything in the house had particles of dust still remaining ,but my greenroom was spotless.
I said to her,i don't worry about living with dust ,don't even know where it comes from lol, besides it's more important for my babies to be dust free than anything else."whoops".:D

lmao! I'm sure he was VERY proud of his love note!:giggity:
My husband "helps" me by unloading the dishwasher, but he doesn't check to see if they're actually clean! I'll come home from work and my honey proudly tells me he unloaded it, and me, knowing I didn't run the dishwasher the night before, just kiss him, thank him-and when hes not looking -carefully look through the cupboard and get all the dirty dishes, and reload the dishwasher. You see, I also, choose my battles. He does try!
You know what they say, Men- you cant live with 'em and you cant kill 'em, so you feed 'em!;)

Daaaammnn. You sure you're not a Warden for some prison? Why not just be a sweetie and look for the brighter side of things? At least he did surprise you with something good and not a pregnant mistress!
I'm not with you on that one. Sounds like my PO(old lady), lol.
