Yeah, well i dont know if one of these threads has been made yet, if it has merge it or whatever yeah, but shit, like, I just finally snapped some pics of my new ride... its a 2001 Chevrolet Impala, all stock as of now, but as i said in some other thread im planning on adding some shit to it to make it purdy nice:
cold air filter
new fuel injectors
compression
new head gasket (has a tendency to blow on the 3.8 v6)
flowmaster dual exhaust
ECU upgrade
probably should make somewhere between 280 and 300 hp once im done with it, thats respectable enough for only putting like 1200 or 1300 into the engine i guess
and inside im gonna try to put in
leather upholstery
new stereo with
4 affinity or pioneer 6x9s (dontknow yet)
2 pioneer 5 1/2s
2 american bass 15" subs
2 alpine 10 or 12" subs
3 american bass amps
and an alpine flip out head unit
should get somewhere around 4000 watts after im done
and after all is said and done it will be about 3000 dollars total, engine interior and sounds
heres it bare-bones stock though, im gonna have to hustle hard hahaha
looking forward to seeing your pics!

man, stoners are some overly paraniod people....

for the last time, unless you're smuggling large ammounts, or admit to having some huge ass grow, the cops/feds/aliens are NOT gonna come after you...

This is my stoner van dude. It doesnt look like much, but its got:
Cold air intake
Custom made exhaust
a Pounding system (completely installed by me )
Many many stash spots
various tools (flippers, pokers, trays) under the pass. seat
Blunt wraps and papers in the center console
I recently upgraded my amp and cleaned up the installation (wires all stashed etc.) but im too lazy to get more pics

oh and the truck, which I should be getting as I head off to college (its the maroon one)

well i dont know if this guy is a smuggler or a grower... i just thought my post would be helpfull to some people... Its a simple mistake that someone can do and regret it afterwards. ...I simply said its not wise...

Runaway Jim
05-25-2007, 02:35 AM
yeah, im not a smuggler or grower, i like to smoke bud, and besides you cannot make out the actual license number anyway and you dont know what state it is...
keep that in mind
and oh yeah idont really mind if the good old gov't comes after me, all theyre gonna find is a gram or two of some bud, which in my state, is punishable by nothing more than a traffic ticket.

this is my 1995 Mazda Miata these are old pics of it i took just before i baught it i don't have any new pics of it because i dropped my fucking camera in my pond a while ago wish i had some new pics since it's fucking dirty in these pics i got it all cleaned up now it looks so damn good sitting in the sun with the top down and i just ordered 4 Mazzi 17 inch rims for it over the internet a couple days ago so they should be here soon currently it has a JVC Kamelion CD player in it with 6 pioneer speakers and i got a JL audio W3 15 inch sub hooked up to a sony XM260G amp putting out about 2000 watts in the trunk it also has a koni adjustable suspension on it, dual performance exhaust the exhaust sounds good not like the fart cannons you typically find on imports, under the hood it's got a 1.8 liter twin cam engine with a reman turbocharger, K&N cold air intake, billet fuel rails oil cap cam gears and camshaft cover, newman cams camshafts, and an aftermarket ECM, i am thinking about finding a 6 speed transmission from an 04 miata and replacing the stock 5 speed this car is fast it goes from 0 to 60 in about 6 seconds and i don't know exactly what the top speed is but i know i can bury the needle on the speedometer and it goes up to 140

Nice ride..

But I wouldn't get underglow, unless you're planning on going all the way, and making it into a street racer..

na, no street racing with RS and automatic, i just wanna get stuff for the looks

why what's wrong with underglow it looks cool as long as it is consistant with the color of the car the only thing i don't like about it is it makes you stand out to the pigs

exactly, its illegal in new york too, so if i actually put them on, i wont be driving around with them but ill turn them on at the gatherings and some places to show off. They come with a remote which is pretty cool, no need for a switch.

Runaway Jim: Go with JL Audio. W7's for the win.

the j0ker
05-25-2007, 06:52 PM
hell yeah JLs are pretty much the cadillac of subwoofers for best results though get the speaker boxes made by JL specifically for their speakers it sounds a hell of a lot better a long time ago i had two W1s in an audiobahn box with a 500 watt amp and i got a custom built JL box and it sounded way better

If these come out in order then

Pic 1 - Pic of my dash in my Escort 55 1.8 Diesel van.
Pic 2 - From google, same van as mine.
Pic 3 - from google again, it's the same van i use for work, carrying around whatever, normally batteriers coz they're heavy bastars.

Nothing too luxury, although for now i've got myself a ford fiesta ST turbo, slightly modified, sound incredible. Goes like a rocket.

i have a question about stick shifts in the uk, first i would find it weird to be shifting with my left hand but youd probly find it weird to sift with your right, but my question is is the pedel set up still clutch/brake/gas I would think it would be weird to be pressing in with your left foot and shifting with your left too

Clutch on the left, brake in the middle, accelerator to the right.

Yep, clutch, brake, gas just as the same as U.S.A. Both Mrs NCM and myself drive Nissan automatics so we dont have to shift but I guess it would be weird having to switch sides.

Cheers

white van man is useally a very good driver. i drive a van for work and us van drivers always look after each other, i will always give way to another van, taxi or lorry, and always get the same in return, but when i'm in my car i dont let no mother f***er in front of me that might slow me down.

You got yourself a nice car there man.

Nah, i'm not into it myself - although i love formula one.

I've got an advanced drivers licence [trained to put my foot down] but that's about it LOL.

I drive a van normally, the fiesta is only tempory. Infact, i've got to give it back next weekend. Shame - i love that car.

I drew this tonight - it's meant to be my van, did it from memory while i smoked a blunt, so it's not all that, but i think it's good enough.

1987 Chevy Suburban 4x4. Originally a 6.2L diesel but that got replaced with a 6.5L diesel from a '94 model. Right now the front driveshaft is out because of a bad U-joint but I got some new U-joints and as soon as I get unlazy I'll be putting it back in. Also waiting on the cash to get a lift and some bigger tires with more traction...got stuck in the mud tonight and it wasn't fun at all.:D

Oh, it'd look great on coilovers, but I found driving the car to be more practical how it sits now.

Nissan_420sx
06-01-2007, 04:10 AM
I suppose..but you can always run the same kind of set up I'm running..get a 1 in. to 2.5 in. drop...Koni Blues and Megan lowering springs and it's about a 1 1/2 in. drop..it looks alot better and I don't have any clearance issues.. you don't need coilovers if it's a daily driver...thats impractical in my opinion

It's not much of a drop but it's noticeable sitting next to a stock one..and the ride is better than stock (in my opinion..it's really not rough at all either)

Damn, I just wrecked my car three weeks ago, and only have liability. Even though I don't think it was my fault, it was all blamed on me...so not only am I stuck with having to pay to fix it, but I also got a $120 fine (failure to yield when entering roadway).
