hey all, pink floyd is definitely my all-time favorite band, it's pretty much been that way since i was a little kid and my daddy raised me on 'em

so i've got to ask, what's your favorite album?
for me, i enjoy listening to ANIMALS the most because david gilmour's a serious stud. dogs, pigs, sheep...the album's flawless.
WYWH is a close second for me, riding on the high that is SOYCD, my all-time favorite song.

I favored animals until I picked up Dark Side of the Moon on vinyl. And lets just say I could never get tired of listening to it.

dark side is my favorite also, as far as an album goes, i think dark side could possibly be the greatest of all time. that is the one and only album i can sit down and listen to from start to finish without doing anything else just listening.

A three-way tie between The Division Bell, Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here... so I voted Division Bell...

my personal favorite is saucerful of secrets. syd barrett era pink floyd is really the only pink floyd i like. i find almost everything after he left the band to be terribly over rated

i thought syd only contributed to 1-2 songs on ASOS, but i'm not too hip on my syd barrett era floyd, it was too out there for me, i don't like the sound of it

but hey, to each his/her own, that's the beauty of music :rasta:

no way man!! syd barrett came up with the name "pink floyd". he wrote the piper at the gates of dawn as well as saucerful of secrets pretty much.
