My first LSD trip was on 1 hit...I didn't really feel too much. Wished I could have taken more.

2-3 hits would be my reccomendation. Depends on your experience, surroundings, etc.

The drug changes completely after 5 hits.

If its the little drops on pieces of paper then 1 hit is prolly good for first time, if its powder then i don't know but if its jello cubes then take a razor and slice off a corner and it should be good if not then up the dosage, REMEMBER: You can always take more but you can never take less...

There was one instance where a person was unknowingly dosed and a few weeks later he 'committed suicide' which, later on, was said to be a homocide.

I used to git sugar-cube lsd,the feller put 2 drops for regular price of 5 bucks,4 drops for 10$. I went over one night to git me some sugar-cube and the feller brought out his box of sugar-cubes and proceeded to put my 2 drops on it,when for some reason,his finger spasmed and he emptied the hole dropper full on it.

Lordy ! He was shocked that he had done emptied the eye-dropper on my cube..but then he said,"what the heck..I ain't gonna charge ya extra-it was my mistake..do you want another one with just 2 drops ?" Then I said, "No problem-I'll take that one.." .

That was one of the most intense trips I've ever had..lol..it was like being in a cartoon world and I couldn't tell if my heart was beating,or my lungs breathing-Lordy ! I had to hang on with every ounce of will-power I had..it takes a strong mind..to take the trip I did.

I tell you what-it's hard to beat fresh sugar-cube !

It was a good thing,that I was experienced with tripping,because I probably had the equivalent of 6-8 drops ! I'm pretty certain that most anyone else at my age then,would have had to go to the hospital. Two drops is plenty for most folks,any more than that and you're taking a big risk with your sanity.

Yeah, I'm amazed you were able to take so much. But I was referring to fearandloathing, who said to do 8 hits in big, green letters.

And for the record, I've already fucked myself up permanently in some ways just doing too much acid over too small a space of time. I've got poor balance and terrible depth perception, and sometimes hallucinate for no reason. Serves me right for taking an orange from a stranger at a Dead concert.

i've taken lsd a few times in my life.....the most i've had in an instance was 3 hits...two drops and a small paper.....boy, was that a nightmare? the best thing to do with acid is not to take more than one drop if you are a beginner.....later on do not exceed more than 3 drops...do not take it in a row ie every day or every two days...a usage of once a month seems safer from every point of view....the halucinations it brings are ok, they get better and better if you are among friends, if you're alone then you get fucked up in less than an hour after it has kicked in......the worst side effect though, as far as i can still remember, is the physical fatigue that it brings when the effect fades away...i used to feel so tired as if i was running for 24 hrs and maybe more....my whole body was in a weird kind of tiredness...i was exhausted even though i was not doing anything, like running/dancing/working...i remember the strange pain on the spine, as if it was streching..when i would finally go to sleep i would need at least 12 hours of sleep and then,after i woke up, i would need at least two days to get back to normal again...it's been almost 5 years since the last time i've tried it and i've never had any halucinations ever since....now that i have grown a bit older i think that i would not do it again, ever....it really fucks you up if you do it a lot, above all you get mentally fucked up.....being cheap does not mean that is ok to do a lot....plus you can't focus when you make love to a girl....at least i was not able to focus on the same thing for more than 2 minutes.....ie imagine your brain as a hard disk....normally the hard disk spins at 7200 rpm , on acid it spins at 100000 rpm....oh boy is that fast?
another good thing i can remember is that you can talk about anything and everything...you can analyze things so deep that in the end you can convince even yourself that black is white and white is purple!

True that. A while back, I had several scenarios running through my head at once and convinced myself that they were all happening at the same time. I was swapping back and forth through the scenarios saying things as if they made sense to everyone, when they didn't even make sense to me. I thought I had no pants on and that it was morning already... I even saw the sunlight. People's faces were fractalling to the point that I could not distinguish one person from another, and I convinced myself that I was with a completely different group of people than I was actually with. I'm an experienced tripper, and I've never had that kind of shit happen to me. This was on 2 hits of the strongest acid I've ever taken, though. I was delusional, though, a lot had to do with my mindset going into the trip. Bad trips are not good. :P

problem is that lsd is not a mass used drug like cocaine speed xtc or heroine
but lsd is like untraceable :# especially in liquid form I`d say

it all depends on the concentration of the liquid
the lsd started out as a powder
you have to know how many micrograms per drop
a standard dose is 150- 400 mics
if they correctly measured it then each drop will contain 150-400 mics
at least I am pretty sure its 150-400
