I think it is silly to have local forums. You list countries in with English is not the primary language.

Why even have them? I posted in Spanish in the Central American area a month or so ago, and it was nuked within a few hours.

I wasn't even asking for a hookup. The whole world does not speak English.

I just spent some time there and you all must realize that cryptic inuendo is not an infraction... asking if someone lives in the area and wants to find new peeps in the area could just be what the forum is for "local"... if anyone see's a blatent infraction it would serve us all better if you pointed it out instead of suggesting that no one is doing their job...

just to interject here....

there was not always an english only rule in place..it was implemented after several things happened, and we did not know because we dont speak the language....i guess after enough peoples' bad actions there is a form of repercussion....in the end, it is just for the member's and site's safety...

When I go to the Canada forum I get depressed because it seems like there are only 1 or two dozen stoners in my country. :(

yeah mate i feel the same abt the aussie forum, man we need more visitors down under. I still love havin an Aussie forum theres some pretty cool people that post just not enough.

I post in them once in a blue moon but I think their stupid. The main people who post are people with 1 or 10 posts to their names trying to get to "know" people aka hookups or to meet. Thats incredibly stupid.

all this is true, but the local forums are a great place to meet just that, local people...it also is a great place to ask about business's and other local things to you.....it may not get used a whole lot, but it sure is good to have the choice, isnt it?

Sure it is, its just that there are alot of shady people around looking to take advantage of us. But hey if you can meet someone cool then go for it. Im just saying, be careful!

yeah i remember when that rule went into place... and the controversy it caused, and the mods being accused of being racist among other things lol...

i also remember quite a few smartasses purposely posting and even making new threads in other languages...

Excuse, me, but I never suggested that no one is doing his job. There's some blatant stuff (email addys etc) that has been bumped recently. I don't need to be accused of tattling either thank you very much ericwt.

it would help us a lot if you could tell us what state or something...there are over 60 forums in the local area....

edit : hey samwhore....i just caught that post you put up that was deleted in here.....get over yourself, and take that attitude somewhere else..if i catch one more shitty comment, you know the deal...

and to all of you talking smack about her post.....relax..the local forums is a large space and things get easily overlooked at times..keeping our site safe so it can stay here, means keeping the trash out....sometimes we just need to know where to pick it up....i consider attitude towards someone telling us where we missed something, taking their own time to help us out, a personal attack, and will treat it as such...just food for thought there....
