I took cuttings about a week ago, and some of them (leafs) are turning yellow. The others are dark green and sturdy. I have them in rockwool in a germination dome.

Been misting them 3-4 times a day, water them when they are not moist. What can I do to fix this?? Perhaps an air bubble went in some? They have been up for a little over a week. The clones have some roots, I can tell from looking down on them. Any thoughts? Shall I feed them with a light nutrient solution?

THANKS!!

Are you misting them with RO water? =reverse foliar feed= leaching N out of leaves... to halt this process, use tap water if you aren't alreasy... other than that, you will probably be able to correct the N def once they root.

Stinky, I did not know that R/O leached the N out of the leaves....That is a neat fact. Yes, I said neat.

I've been misting them with distilled water, I'm thinking I didn't set them right in the rockwool perhaps, it's my first try cloning. Shall I use my well water instead?? Thanks!!

Yeah I would switch to well water.
Not setting them properly should not affect leaf color; after all they don't yet have roots with which to uptake anything really... the fact that some are yellower than others is more likely to do with how much N the particular slips already had stored in them.

Me too!
Yellowing isn't the end of the world, I look at it as a kinda okay thing actually because too high N concentrations can inhibit rooting.
