I wrote on a search engine the following: "How to get stoned better." It is on my brother's computer and he's been brainwashed so would most likely freak out and tell our Dad.
The problem is this: he has auto-complete turned off when searching on Yahoo.com, but he also has one of those search engine tool bars, and when you search on there it doesn't delete. It stays there, and he'd see it. Can anyone tell me how to delete the search?
He uses Avant Browser, by the way.

Hello,
I am not 100% sure that this will solve your problem, but just smash his computer and act like it was that way when you found it. :)
Just kidding around.
If you click on Help & Settings at the top of the screen, then go to settings option that is in the drop down menu under Help & Settings. Next, after clicking on settings, go to Internet Options, from here you should be able to clear the history, clean out the cookies and all other Temporary Internet Files.
I hope this helps.
Out of curioisity did the search "How to get stoned better" even bring back any results?
Peace
I am sure you click on Tolls tab on IE then go to IE Options then Delete temporary IE Files....

You can also
--unintstall the search bar, then reinstall it.
--Clear your cache
--delete all cookies

thats probably the best idea

Firstly, do what The Student said... Tools -- Internet Options -- Delete Cookies, Delete Files, Clear History

Then, if youre running Windows XP... Start Menu -- Control Panel -- Add/Remove Programs -- Uninstall the toolbar, and then exit Control Panel, and re-download/install the toolbar, and it'll be as good as new :)

yeah bro delete cookies, thats the thing.
haha after years of highschool shananagins and porn we all know how to delete those little things.
and if your specific browser doesnt have the internet options and cookie deleter, you can right click on the start button and click on explore.
here you will find all the files on your computer. this is tedious but you will eventually find teh files. expand all the files under internet explorer or whatever program u use and find the cookie file and delete it or its contense. there should be one file you cant delete, thats ok, its part of the windows program.
good luck bro!

if its just the search bar, search for about 10 other things like
butterflys
ketchup vs catsup
television shows
movie times
ring tones
ect...
do enough to cover up the one you searched for

naw that might not work, koshea.. if the search bar uses Auto Complete, then when the guy types the letter H, the auto complete will come up with "How to get stoned better" lol

Start using FireFox instead of IE. Set the days in history to 0 and everything will be wiped when you close the program.
