I lived in Fairfield for a few years. My only advice to a New Haven-ite would be to track down Mamoun's Falafal after toking. Best Middle Eastern food ever, at a great price.

I try to stop by whenever I'm in the area. It's on Howe St., I believe.

my sister used to work at mamouns. great falafel but they treat their employees like total shit. i prefer aladdins.

I just moved to Hamden about a month ago from Cincinnati.
People dont know anything about pizza, hockey, or soccer out there.
Love being back on the coast :)
