This morning my husband ran to town to pick up the mail and a few things at the store. When he got home I had a fresh pot of coffee made. Among the sale papers, magazine's and assorted stuff was a little box addressed to me! What a nice surprise! Inside the box I found an adorable hand carved pipe.
Holding it in my hand I felt so touched that someone would take the time to make this with their own hands, and then send it at their expense, to a total stranger.
I poured the coffee, Hubby fitted a screen and filled the bowl. It smoked real nice, a smooth woody undertone made the smoke that much better. We sat, had our coffee and talked about Jack. I showed my hubby pics of him from the forum, we talked about his amazing plants.
This little pipe, this act of unselfishness, touched us both in unexpected ways. No longer a stranger, the maker of the pipe is now a friend. Someone we have a connection with. The pipe I hold was in his hands, turned, fashioned, created and given away.
I just want to thank you Jack, My friend. KUU
That was a lovely post Kuul :)
Yeah it's so refreshing to see someone who isn't all ME ME ME
Nice one Jack, you're a pretty cool guy ;)

Seriously, Jack is one of the coolest people I've EVER been aquainted (sp?) with. Even my BEST friends wouldn't give me a handmade pipe. (Even though I like to give them gifts on a regular basis.)
Anyway I love you HHJ....peace out....
