I looked at my calander and I realized that I planted the second week of March. So my plants are just over 2 months old.
Both are flowering and producing crystals. Also the tips of the white hairs are starting to turn amber colored. So when they are fully amber it means they are ready right??
Also it is very early in the season and the sun doesn't go 12/12 until the very end of September. Currently we are at 13 hours of sunlight per day where I am now. I was told that my plants would revert back to vegitative state because I planted early.
Now the question.. as the white hairs continue turning amber.. do I pick just the flowers and leave the rest of the plant? Will I be able to have 2 harvests in 1 year?
I tied down one of my plants because it has reached over 4 feet in height (hybrid) and the other is about 3 feet but continues to get thicker every day (indica).
I don't know the particular strand names. I got them from a co-op grower in CA. My brother mentioned that because of the altitude differences here (6000 feet) than in CA, it may be why the plants are growing differently. They are very healthy and happy. Its just seeing the flowering and changing of color so soon isn't expected. And as they turn color, how much do I cut?? And what is the possibility of regrowth?
There was a branch in the back of the plant that was full amber and I plucked a couple buds, artificially dried them and tried it out last night and the stuff is good. I was only able to make it through 3/4 of a bowl before it was enough, and I have a wildly high tolerance.
