:rastasmoke:I have been growing outdoors and in a closet for some time now and have decided to take the step from hobby to commercial growing. I am thinking of using lighting power in the range of 3-4000watts. Money is not really an issue in this grow just power consumption(out of paranoia). I will use a strain such as white widow for good yeild and top quality. I am open to all suggestions of grow operations I am looking for a way to get the most yeild possible. I would like to see 30lbs a year or more if possible. Could somone help me with exactly what lights and configuration of grow supplise will best suit my needs. I'm sure someone will tell me to grow big bud but my mission is to sell the best weed money can buy for mid grade prices to smokers not dealers, hence the need for a large yeild.

ps: I'm planning on using soil

Dude, don't EVER post that you are setting up a commercial grow on the internet, wtf, you're going to last like 5 minutes.

Scrogging and Topping a plant is the best way to maximise yield but on a large scale is very time consuming I guess

What is with all the

Trolls

lately? It almost sounds like the same idiot - the names are different but the M.O. is the same. Always demanding:

"Everybody take their time to explain this to me in detail 'cuz I'm too fucking lazy to research anything."

Idiots!

If you are growing alot and you have a good supply of clones try packing them in as closely together as you can and prun them into big top buds. This way you can make 20-30 top nugs from one 1000w hps. IMO.. This is the best way to maximize yeild but even canopy growth is very important so you need clones.

Pssht whatever... the moment the word commercial comes out of your mouth, stinky gets cranky.
3000 watts is NOTHING.
It just sounds like you're trying to be cool....
Now, 'help with my 3k grow' would be a bit different... but you STILL have to do your own research first.

If you need us to teach you how to do a "Commercial Grow" then you probably need to stick to outdoor and CFLs until you have enough experience and know-how to do that because it doesn't sound like you really know what you'r talking about...

True point, Justaseeds 'lovely ladies' log seems to be a good example of this. Carefully trained clones from the offset, FIM'd all new shoots as they appear, trained through a screen, tied back down to the screen,... as a result he got almost 200 tops from three plants, absolutely astonishing.
