well I was reading on a website that choppers do infra red scans over peoples houses, I know of this in the US but what about inthe UK?

If say...someone had 5 plants in veg unsexed would the choppers be able to scan even if I camouflaged it in more plants.

I am shtting myself over this as I had a chopper last night circling 100m radius of my house and 6 others.

Please can anyone give me any info on this as you guys know your shit.

Thanks

Yeah they can pick up on it from the sky, when they go over they'll see the heat from your grow. Now imo there not going to be flying around at night hoping to find someone growing plants in there house, costs to much money. The only way you'd get caught is if there looking for someone, chasing a car ect and they notice there's alot of heat coming from your house ect and then they may log it and report it.

"The military uses multispectral imagery to reveal marijuana crops cultivated under forested canopies because marijuana leaves reflect a different color of green than the surrounding vegetation. "

outdoors, there is no need for sophisticated 'heat-seeking' technology, etc ... simple infra-red camera film (available at any good camera shop) will make marijuana plants stand out as 'white, or light-colored foliage' - so, when the chopper flies over, it can take a simple photograph, develop it, and 'see' all our 'white plants' - fortunately, they don't like paying cops to hike all over the countryside thru poison oak, lions, tigers, and bears, etc, to scavenge a few scattered plants, they're looking for the BIG crops - worth the effort and expense, and producing great big busts for newspaper headlines (it justifies their budgets) - no biggie, not that complicated

I have a dining table light that uses around 450w total power (yes I cked that figure is completely right, and yes it's from the 80's when everything was okay to waste, lol).....No one has ever knocked on my door because of suspicious consumption/infared, you dig?

.................The ones that are suspicious are the 3000/4000w ops....

heres a good piece of info I found
Erowid Law Vaults : Supreme Court : Infrared Scanning Unconstitutional (Kyllo v US) (http://www.erowid.org/freedom/courts/supreme/supreme_case2_comment1.shtml)
apparantly a heat signatuere alone is not enough for a warrant. but I'm sure theylog the heat signature and your address down, and keep an eye on you. So long as you keep your nose clean, the infared scan wont bust your indoor grow.

Sounds to me like you haven't a clue what infra-red is...camouflaged it in more plants? infra-red senses heat, they use it to detect indoor grow operations...they don't use it for outdoor plants..they use binoculars for that..Highway patrol does it here, but it's rather funny that there's HUGE patches of wild hemp growing in a couple places outside of town, they must not be very good at that..cause we just drove by and saw them, they're in a helicopter..

You won't get busted with a few plants, it would cost the FEDS more to lift that helicopter off the ground to scan over your house than it cost you to buy all that equiptment + the money you would got if you sold what you grew, its just not worth it.
