The coolest thing happened the other day. I was talking with my mom (I know my parents smoke) and asked if we could combine our purchases to get a better price. Also, the prices Iā??ve been getting are way better than what they pay so we worked it out that I would buy an ounce for them (and a half-o for me). Well, hereā??s the thingā?¦ I donā??t have a scale or anything. In the past itā??s been cool because I trust my friend and all, but there are different levels of trust and Iā??m still kinda a noob as far as being able to eyeball something and know if thatā??s a good ounce or whatever. Last time, my friend was going nuts saying like ā??how well I got hooked upā? and was pissed that I wasnā??t like jumping for joy. I just donā??t have any experience in that regardā?¦

What I donā??t want to happen is to come home and give it to my parents just to have them go ā??wtf, this isnā??t an ounceā? or whatever. My friendā??s dealer is just a little shady in that last time I bought a half-o from him, his scale was ā??out of batteriesā?. He walked over to his neighbors who he said had a scale then came back and gave me the half-o. I would feel a lot better if I saw it myself and KNEW that I was getting what I paid for. I could get a scale for myself, but Iā??ve been told they are kinda expensive and I donā??t have time to wait for one to be shipped or whatever. I have one of those older scales that is used to weigh mail and find out how many stamps you need, would that work?

I really canā??t mess this one up. Itā??s one thing if I get ripped but to work out this cool thing with my parents then have it go down in flames would SUCK.

Even if you get a scale for yourself, and you find out he shorted you, is this a situation where you'd be able to force it outta him? And it's considered rude to ask a dealer to weigh it in front of you. You can end up with a black eye doing that. There are times when it's worth it to risk that though. But if your hookup isn't solid, you might wanna just ask your parents to use their sources.

well if i was buying a 60 sack or even like a half-o just for me it would be one thing, but we're talking like $450 and my future with my parents...

People usually fold a dollar bill and weigh it out to test their scales. A dollar bill should come out exactly 1.0 gram.
