well this is now my 4th grow and i've got some blueberry seeds for it,will also be using a clone or 2 from my last grow

i'm growing in a small wardrobe with a 400watt hps,and a couple of fans blowing

have a couple of clones rooted already and some more in the propigator, along with some seeds which have now started to sprout,my aim is to get the 5 best plants into 12 litre buckets in my wardrobe, the rest can go outside, maybe keep one as a mother

anyway some pics of the wardrobe, clones seeds and mother

looks real nice.

it kills me that folks will say this as long as they can see a cannabis plant :)

folks will have dwarf, stunted, defficient plants and they're still "nice"

but they are very NICE :)

dig the cacti; you aren't harvesting peyote or anything are ya? :)

ugh, waiting on a San Pedro or Peyote to get big enough would suck, I think it takes years. I would buy one from a plant store, or home depot or something like that.

thanks for the comments

the cacti are just cacti,i've grown them for years, just can't seem to stop buying them, maybe it's their low maintanance eh,takes about 12 years to get peyote i believe, none of mine are the right kind

seedlings are doing well, got 4 up and 3 on the surface of dirt, probably see those 3 tomorrow

so i probably have enough to get my wardrobe lit again, the 2 clones can go straight into big pots, seedlings into 5 litre pots till they show sex, only got room for 5 plants so gonna make sure i get 5 females this time, any others will go outside in the 400ish litre pot and enjoy the english summer

another couple of pics

ok,i got 6 of the 8 seeds sprouted,1 has come up upside down so i turned it and still haven't seen the last seed, not bad for ungermed seeds, think it's the self watering propegator that's helping

anyway, tomorrow i put them all in the wardrobe on 16/8 cycle, then just sit back and watch them grow

atsar
05-27-2007, 01:16 PM
so i got 6 seeds out of 8 that sprouted sucessfully which i've repotted into some bigger pots, which will hopefully do them for a couple of weeks

the clones i've left for the moment as i see no roots yet, maybe the other 2 seeds will sprout too

the 2 rooted clones in the big pots have really taken well to being under the hps and i'm gonna give them some nutes at next watering, dilute mixture of 35-10-10

anyway a few pics

looks nice! the leaves of one of your plants in the top picks looks so smooth, not marijuana like at all.

atsar
05-30-2007, 12:31 PM
yeah, those are the clones, both have smooth leaves but are going spikey again now

atsar

seedlings are now all between 7-11 days old now and have been under hps for about a week now, they seem to be doing alright

one of them is a freak, has 3 sets of leaves at each node rather than the standard 2,so will need to see what comes of that

the clones, one of them is doing good, the other,i don't know what the fuck it's up to,it's leaves have still no ridges and supersmooth and it has loads of twisted up deformed leaves, but it's growing so i'll give it a bit see what it does

summer has arrived so havin trouble keeping temps down though aint too worried, will get that fixed soon

anyway,some pics

atsar
06-08-2007, 10:34 PM
well the biggest seedlings are almost 3 weeks old now,few days to go

i think 1 of them is beginning to show sex, just not what sex, should know in a couple of days what it is,though expect it'll be male, they usually show 1st,but fingers crossed,i've included a pic

the bigger seedlings seem tobe showing signs of nute deficiency so will give them some very dilute 35-10-10 at next watering,i've already given the clones some but feel they may now need a little magnesium so am gonna give them some epsom salts next water

the clone with the retarded leaves seems to be growing out of it now, twisted retarded leaves are still there but new growth looks straight and spikey, other clone seems to have started growing better now too

the little 3 leaved freak is looking good too, still giving 3 leaves per node and 3 branches per node too, really hope that ones a girl

anyway some pics

:thumbsup:hi atsar this clone is like this because it was taken in flower(am i right) this is ity returning to veg stage this happens with all clones taken after 3 weeks 12/12 nothing to worry about man it will turn into a wicked bush and make one exellent mother producing new leave and stem growth form each calux.feed some superthrive and a hign N feriliser and it will be fine its done most of the revgging now the leaves will start one leaf non serated the 3 the five with the serating of the leafs coming as the plant progresses imo these make great mums .Im presuming you selcted theses from the flowering plant because she was a good producer?
anyway mate best a luck own yer grow and hope all works oot fur yeh man a wull be keepin an eye own yer progress:thumbsup:davey the postamn.

i actually have another clone which i made the mother,i took the clones from this because i've found that clones taken from this strain have amazing branching capabilities(you seen the scrog, that was a flowering clone)plus the fact that's 2 guaranteed females, only have room for 5 plants so i'm hoping to get 3 females outta the 7 blueberry seeds i have going

one of the clones has like 5 or 6 defined growing tops, thanks to the branching of the callyxes and there's more opening up,so looking forward to seeing how they turn out

if i get 5 females,i reckon i should be able to get 15 oz,that's 3 per plant though i'm averaging 4 oz per plant from previous grows, the wardrobe will be cramped so gotta expect a bit less per plant

The Fog :rastasmoke:

thanks man,the female hunt is well and truly on,though i have a couple i suspect will be male, there's no preflowers yet, there's just something about them, spacing between nodes, leaf shape and even smell ever so slightly different to others, who knows but something tells me they're male so will be intresting to find out if i'm right

haha, you're 3 node plant looks so cool, I dont think ive seen one like that before! Good luck with your grow, looks like you have a good start

it's great aint it,would be cool if it was a female, looking at how it grows if it's female then it should yeild more than the normal plants as it has 3 branches at each node,so if it was female and started to bud, there's gonna be more branches for the buds to form on,plus they'll be forming on 3 sides of each branch instead of the standard 2,though i may be totally wrong,i've never had one like this before

Is that water bottle in your first pic of this thread used for Co2?

atsar
06-13-2007, 07:39 PM
yeah,it's 2 bottles tied together which i hang above the fan,got 2 new fans and had to reposition them, that's why you don't see them anymore, just a simple mixture of sugar water and yeast

orangeman
06-13-2007, 07:53 PM
Yeah, I want to add more Co2 to my room but I don't know where to get any yeast lol.

06-13-2007, 09:08 PM
Cool, I'll be lookin' for it the next time I go to the store lol. I want to see if it could help my yield. I never knew I'd be such a yield freak :p You'd be surprised at how many hours I've spent trying to find ways to increase my yield since my first flowers started showing lol. Btw plants are lookin' good. I can't wait to see how they bloom :).

atsar

been nearly a week since adding pics so thought i'd add a few

weather here in the uk has been, well a bit shit for a few days now so plants are being treated to some lower temps and higher humidity, they best enjoy it while it lasts heh,

seeing signs of pre-flowers on 2 plants, can't tell what they are yet but i'm betting the plant in pics 4 and 5 is a bloke,it's one of the ones i suspected will be male, just look at the space between nodes, length of leaf stems etc,not to mention the ball like thing beginning to appear, and it's the only one that's reached maturity(alternating nodes)

pics 2 and 3 are the same plant, hoping this 1 will be female,it's smaller and more compact

rest are plodding along nicely, though i'm really hoping to see some sex soon so i can get them into the bigger pots, haven't enough pots or space to re pot them until they do show sex, just hope the smaller pots don't stunt their growth meantime, though i see no roots in drainage holes yet

anyway here's the pics

atsar
06-17-2007, 08:20 PM
still not happy about the plants in the small pots but just don't have space for bigger ones,so i decided to put a few of them on 12/12 so i can see what sex they are,as soon as they show i'll put them straight back into veg, considered putting the whole cabinet on 12/12 but i've only just managed to get those clones re-vegging and don't think they could handle the stress

atsar
06-18-2007, 12:20 PM
don't know why,but i've noticed the plants i put on 12/12 have changed colour to a much deeper green than the rest are and the leaves are really shiny compared to the rest, and they've only had one 12 hour dark period

it's so noticable you can easily tell what ones are 12/12 just by looking

atsar
06-19-2007, 08:03 PM
well been looking at pictures of previous grows and it would seem my plants are all around the size i usually start 12/12,they've been going about 4 weeks i think,so i've decided to switch them all over to 12/12

i'm going to do like i did in my 2nd grow and give them a bend in the middle of each plant to bring the main cola level with the tops of the bottom branches,i did this around 9 days into 12/12,so will probably do it about then again

and even if all goes wrong i still have my mother plant for clones, well i call it a mother,it's more of a donor,it's growing in a pot outside and i've tied it all down to fit in my coldframe,i'm going to allow it to go full cycle but will take any cuttings i want from it,i assume it still has a good 4 months before it'll finish outdoors so plenty time for taking cuttings,it's the plant in the last 2 pics

anyway,the pics,all comments appreciated
thanks

plants are all around 12 inches tall now,and they're being treated to some higher humidity thanks to the stormy weather we're having here

there's little pod shaped things on most of them now at the bases of the shoots but are way too small to tell what they are yet, should start finding out real soon though

Crazy that weather man i got caught in that astar it was like hot rain very weird its gotta clear up i had a super skunk mother outside and have had to bring her indoors cuase the rain was just to much for her .i think cause she is in indoor strain that she didnt like the bad weather.I see your grows coming along nicely mate will keep an eye on yer thread.dave the postman.

cheers postmandave, always good to see you around, been a bit quiet in here lately though it is the boring bit, still nothing much happening at the moment, been 12/12 for a bit but still no real signs of sex yet, though things should get more intresting once they're sexed and in bigger pots

do you have anything on the go at the moment?

atsar
06-26-2007, 11:55 AM
well found 3 males in the wardrobe today which i promptly got rid of,been looking like they were gonna be male for a few days now but today it was confirmed

clones i have going are starting to show pistils and white hairs, just waiting to see what the other 4 from seed will be,i'm hoping they'll be female as males are usually 1st to show, but can't really be sure, just hopeful

on the upside,my 3 leaves per node plant is looking good, still not showing any signs of sex yet so fingers crossed

well been a while since i've been here and things have changed regarding my grow

something came up whereas i was out 18 hours a day and was unable to continue tending them,i was gonna scrap it completely but decided on putting them outside

some share a massive pot with some pumpkins,a sunflower, poppies and even a palm tree, thought they'd quickly die with all the fast growing heavy feeders, but they're holding their own, good 2.5feet tall with loads of tops

i've also others strewn about the place in smaller pots which are lookin good, you'll see them in the pics,

will do another indoor grow in autumn

all comments welcome
thanks

thanks hydro,i don't really know what will happen with the plants in the big pot but i hope they live as they're getting really big,and they're still in veg,you can't see the real size of those 2 as the soil in that big pot is about a foot below the top of the pot,put over 300 litres of soil and a good 40 litres of perlite and gravel in and still couldn't fill it lol,i hope i don't need to take the pumpkins out as they're good cover for the weed
