What's the consensus on best time to transplant? Would I be stressing them too much moving them during the dark period, or are brief ventures away from direct light during the light period more stressful?

...or does it even matter? Call me curious...

..I transplanted 4 times in bright noon time sunshine..(18 plants)..but I did it quick....comprende?...don't expose roots to light...don't fiddlefuck around...:pimp:.....when transplanting.

Do it in the light cycle and do it efficiently.. get everything ready.. knock out... plop in... backfill... water... return to flower.

Don't worry about decreased light intensity... kind of like a cloud going across the sun!

So direct light on roots is a big no no, gotcha.

Thanks guys, I shall be quick and efficient, with nary a fiddlefuck. :D

^LOL...so are you doing this in flower stage or vegetative?

It's the same consideration regardless of life stage.
Minimal handling (under special circumstances such as changing media, it's okay, but make sure if you have to wash the roots it's in room temperature water)
Minimal light
Water in with Thiamine/B12

Logic tells me that transplanting just before the dark period begins would give the plant chance to recover, there is alot of scientific information that backs this up otherwise I would have just said 'any old time man'.

...one thing I forgot..

I used a Root Stimulator at each transplant...by Ferti-lome...never loss a leaf.

..Indole-3-butyric Acid....0.0004%...what ever the fuck that means....1% Surfactant Soil Penetrant..?...

the other 99% is inert ingredients....like me.......

IBA is a rooting hormone
Surfactant- can be even dish soap- is to get it into the soil by breaking up surface tension

lol I would hardly call the Pimp inert... he's an easy going sort but I'd never want to see his teeth... :D
