Does anyone like pokemon?

I have never played pokemon before! so I bought pokemon diamond. It is pretty neat, though I don't know what the big hub bub is about.

It was fuckin' amazing when i was 10 years old, but then I discovered chicks and other cool stuff, so that was the end of Pokemon

Don't worry about it man, Pokemon's still cool in my books, I just kinda grew out of it. If you're having fun, that's all that fuckin' matters, right? :thumbsup:

I have Pokemon Diamond, been playing it here and there. I'm not getting too into it, being a handheld game I tend not to get into them very well. I did get into red/blue and yellow quite a bit several years ago. I dunno it's really good but it feels a lot like "been there done that" type of thing. There is a lot more to do, but the basic game is still the same as it's always been.

yeah thats the one I picked up. I can definitly see how it would get old after... just one of the colors really. the battle system is often agonizingly slow. but.. its neat to find the little buggers, and then they evolve which is neat as well.

Meh, people hate it 'cause its popular. Once something is too cool, your cool for saying you hate it.

I personally loved it before it became a fad. I had the japanese version of Red before the cartoon even came out in the UK.

Havnt touched it for years though, I grew out of it but still rate it :D !

I stopped playing it after I turned like 9ish, but just the other day I started playing a new.....what an odd coincidence.

I played pokemon red on the gameboy for a while(wasnt actually my copy)....havent actually played any other pokemon but I have been meaning to pick up a pokemon game on the ds. I watched the cartoons sometimes ...never got into the pokemon card craze though
