Weird Unexplained Habit

After posting in another thred I have decided to make my own about this weird habit I have going on.

For some odd reason unknown to me I cant stop saying the word Tadaaa. This started after I got my new job. For example today I helped move a 50 inch tv, after getting it to its resting place I take a step back and then say Tadaaa. Its just not the word alone, I say it in a weird way like I just got done doing a magic trick Tadaaaa! I dont know where this came from or how to stop it.

Anyone else ever started a weird habit and not know why your doing it, you just are?

i do the same thing from time to time. it's the outward manifestation of this little thrill of accomplishment. i always make sure to say it with a flourish and sometimes even a little bow.
back when i was working maintenance in retirement homes i would whistle this little four note tune from time to time. it was my way of warning the old folks that the big bad scary hippie was coming around the corner. i didn't want any heart attacks blamed on my sudden appearance.

i don't know of any habits i have, but my good friend anthony back like probly 2 years ago he had the weirdest habit well i guess it might have been more of a twitch or something but he used to every once in a while just move his arm back like almost as far as he could for no reason at all. I remember in school sometimes he would accidently hit ppl behind him.

I don't know how to fix your problem but i guess i can ask my friend and see how he stopped cause he did it for a little while.

that's perfect; i had a similar one where i couldn't stop snaping my fingers at people; started way back in junior high and i'd snap my fingers at teachers etc. to get their attention :) not very smart

I done it all day today to. I dont even think about it I just do it and as Im saying it out loud to my self Im saying what the fuck is wrong with me I need to stop this they already think Im weird

I don't see why you're so self conscious about it. It's anywhere near the weirdest habit out there, in fact some might find it cute or funny when you do it.

Its killing me, my coworkers think Im crazy.
Also I have never revealed that I smoke pot to my coworkers, but they keep calling me their little stoner, I cant figure that out.

through most of my life, the people that i've worked with thought i was crazy. it's really quite useful. folk don't question when you do something a bit strange, they are pleasantly surprised when you act totally normal and when you want to be left to yourself it usually only takes one warning and they let you be. as long as you don't venture into the realm of extreme psychosis, being crazy ain't such a bad gig.

of course, i've got the paperwork to prove my lunacy. you might have to work a little harder to reap the benefits of their fear.;)

I will never drink right to the bottom of a glass, cup etc does not matter what liquid is in it I'll always leave a small amount, also I will always turn a roll of toilet paper on a holder so that it unwinds down the wall side even in other peoples houses, I dont know if thats classed as weird to me its as normal as wishing my pillow is Hillary Clinton.

anyway, I do this weird noise thing with my...wow thats harder to describe than I thought it would be...it's like a noise that leaks out of my lips pressing on my teeth while I blow out. Kindda like when you try to get a little kitty's attention

I rub/mess with my eyes a lot, more than normal people. I always feel like I have something in them..My friends and boyfriend all yell at me constantly..I do it more when I'm nervous. I also eat extremely slow.

I'm not a nail biter but I always nibble on them never really biting anything off. I do it more when I'm nervous.

I have a hard time looking someone in the eye when being spoken to...always look at their mouth.

Back in elementary and middle school I'd draw all over my margins until they were full and then color in closed in letters like "o". I had to drop this one in highschool after having to rewrite a few papers...

i can say practically anything backwards, OCD from when i was a lil kid i used to spell out every word in my sentences ODDD i know but now im very good with words, ppl get freaked out its like when they ask me to say a word its almost as if i can see it in my head, idk wish i could show some of you guys seems impressive ina way
