I am currently running a hydro system and am wondering what is the best solution to end, prevent, and destroy algae and other bacterial growth.

I have heard hydro peroxide but am hesitant before i pour the chemicals into my babies water.

Thanks for the help

What kinda system ?
Algae never bothers me . In my sys. it's only ever on the lil rockwool starter cube , and once plants are big enough to block light from the cubes the algae dies from no light . If it really bugs ya I have used a 1/2 a tsp. of 3 % h2o2 per gallon of water in the given system and it'll kill it .
Peace

Or you could put a snail for aquariums in there :) Just kidding I'm really stoned and can tell you should have all the advice you need above me so I thought I'd put in my stupid idea.

the water temp must not exceed 70F to aviod any water problems and they must be light proof.
