today i found out that my neighbor's niece died..... now she was a very religous person. she went to church every sunday. she went to religous classes on wednsdays and did all the stuff that religous people do.... she had been living a tough life... her mom died 3 years ago from cancer and she was just getting over the mourning stages. she was a straight A student too.she was 14 years old............... she died of a brain hermradge or something in her brain( there were no warning signs) i just thought i would share this story.......

this really makes me wonder????

i thought so many different things ova the past few years and i dont think there is "god" as written in the bible. there maybe sum sort of "thing" that we that happens to us once we die. i dont know. i guess we'll have to wait and see (or not)

I think it would be awesome if the concepts religion is based on would be more sensical. But the morals and values that have been pressed on the unwilling child are bullshit. The one that gets me all the time is this completely absurd idea that homosexuality is wrong. But as it stands now, religion is a load of crock, it has really messed up the morals (most of them) that we now live by in modern civilization. The comment I alot is that religion is good because it keeps people straight and narrow and gives them something top believe. Thats the problem, the only way we are going to advance, we are not advancing today, is that we quit relying on other powers to guide us and start relying on ourselves more.

I don't really believe in a god, but I think religion is cool if it helps you find purpose or meaning or whatever and if it makes you a better person. I find my meaning in science (and pot), but if religion gives you a better life in any way, all power to you, bro. Just don't use it to spew hate like the fundamentalists, who continually stand in the way of civil rights and human progress. As long as you're not a bigoted idiot, religion might be a great path for you.

'God' (if He does/did exist) resides in a dimension that we cannot comprehend - therefore, the question is moot...

Instead of relying on 'God' to change things, try looking to what it is that you can do to change things...

When something 'bad' happens, it becomes easy to blame 'God'
When something good happens, it is easy to thank 'God'
And when the status quo is maintained...'God' is forgotten.

What about blind luck (good and bad)?
What about the repercussions of human action?

Those poor people in the continent of Asia and beyond, must all be looking to the sky and asking 'God', "why did you let this happen?"

I wonder what the answer would be...........

It always amazes me that when something bad happens people immediately blame God. But when something good happens they stand right up and take the credit. Satan has dominion over the earth today and he deals with people by killing them and death and all other sorts of tragedies. Gods plan includes satan and death for everyone on this web site and He does not owe you an answer or an apology. Did you pray for that little girls soul? Maybe He took her while He could still get her because maybe growing up where she was she would have never found God, did ya ever think like that?
