VaporDaddy - I love the Kill Bill trilogy and mean to add it to my collection at some point. Fun movies. I was never fond of The Princess Bride but it's been many years since I've sat down and watched it. I dunno I usually don't like those "silly" movies. Like Robinhood - Men in Tights, is another one that I don't care for.
Staurm - Nice list as far as I can tell. I've seen about half of them and all those I like, so I'd assume the others are great as well. I keep meaning to see A Clockwork Orange but I space if off. Perhaps with this topic around I'll remember to download it this weekend along with my Magnolia download.
Hook? Are you serious? The Postman? Panned by critics everywhere. Haha, that list may be your favourite movies of all time but they are not the best movies of all time.
What about The Godfather (1 and 2), Apocalypse Now, Silence of the Lambs, The Usual Suspects, Chinatown, Jaws, Remember the Titans, The Exorcist, Patton, Pulp Fiction, Casablanca, Saving Private Ryan, Alien, Seven, Blood Diamond, The Sting, The Natural, Saw, Goodfellas, Platoon, Meet the Parents, Something About Mary, ET ......
These are just some off the top of my head that IMO should rate higher than both Hook and The Postman.

Critics are not always right you know. I don't let someone elses opinion rule what movies I like or don't like and all Critics are, are people that get paid to state their opinions. The Postman got bashed and ridiculed for no decent reason. I absolutely love that movie. And the topic is "Your" top 20 Not the general publics top 20.
As far as the movies you thought I should have on my list, well about a third of them I didn't like. Like Pulp Fiction I hate Pulp Fiction. A third I do like (Like Alien, Blood Diamond) but just not more than the ones I listed and a third I haven't seen (Godfather)

Well the best movie every made is
Boondock Saints, I'm suprised nobody here has mentioned it yet. If you don't mind subtitles, or you know portuguesse you should buy City of God. and if you hate subtitles then you should still buy it. Ebert says on the cover that its the best movie you will ever see and he probably isn't mistaken. Also be sure to watch the hour long documentary interviewing drug dealers in Rio
Thats my top two, watch them and they'll be yours too.
