is weed good for them cuz my dad has them and has had 3 back surgeries he is highly addicted to the fucking pills they give him im wanting to get him on something better for him

YES YES YES i have really bad back trouble and the hospital give me morphine for the pain it made me feel really sick so i stopped and upped the bud to a 1/4 a day and it helps loads i hope your dads gets better

ty well shit any ideas on saying to him dad weeds better for ur back than Loritab i mean he told me if he ever caught me smoking pot he would cut off my head

Find some websites that point to the effectiveness of marijuana in helping people with chronic pain (I don't have any on hand, sorry). Hell, I'm sure plenty of the local forumites would help toss in a testimonial for you.

And child, since he's getting older, he may be beginning to fear the infirmities that old age brings- cancer, Alzheimer's, Arthritis, Crohn's disease, etc. Try googling whatever conditions he fears and cannabis. I also suggest adding the term "abstract"- that gets you summaries of scientific reports. Like this- cannabis Alzheimer's abstract. Check EROWID, ASA and NORML for more stuff!
