I just find it rather surprising the "currently active" and the "viewers" counter for each subject bars are always so full but it seems like most people don't post. Coming from spending many years on a gaming site called Gamefaqs most of the current and social boards move so fast and have such a flow of posting traffic that your topics either quickly fill of responses almost like you're in a messenger program lol or it falls into obscurity. I have caught myself getting impatient on the responses to topics around here a few times.

Why do most visitors here seem to just lurk? Not that it's a bad thing, just curious. :thumbsup:

actually i think us or some similar comunity is the best to go to for relationship advice (not that i do, just saying)

as we represent general people, where as 'love doctors' rarely ever know wtf they're talking about...(from what i've seen from them, they are rarely ever 'neutral' i.e. a woman dr. gives out advice from a female prespective, and male drs do the same... i dunno if that makes sense, kinda hard to put that thought train in words) and people such as your friends or parents usually back your decision, even if it's not the best choice for you...

just my thought on that part...

Well I think it isn't exactly about "getting advice" on relationships at least it wouldn't be for me, more as getting another perspective from other people. Discussing it, throwing ideas and suggestions back and forth can often times help oneself in determining what they want to ultimately do about said problem.

This isn't a bad place to come for other types of advice... health, relationship, whatnot, as this is a VERY diverse community that includes some interesting, educated, worldly, and well-travelled people.... you just have to have a little common sense and take it all with a grain of salt and a large dose of good humor. Which some people seem to be lacking...

Stick around for the hot summer months Melkane....when tempers flare in here you find ALOT of activity. LOL....also watch your calander for full-moons.

In general this is a very chill site filled with stoners so things don't move quite as fast as some sites and the daytime hours seem to move a little slower than the evenings. Hit the right though and you'll have a hard time keeping up on the posts.

dunno what time zone you're in, but by my time zone there are a couple of spikes in activity... one is in about 2 hours (5pm) and the other is in about 6-7 hours (around 8-9ish pm)

And I've had enough exposure to P4B's unique terms that I've now gotten into the habit of using "assclown" in my everyday speech, usually when I'm driving. "Stupid assclown" and "fat assclown" just roll off my tongue when I'm negotiating traffic. Here on the boards, I tend to keep my language a bit more chill. Figure it helps counterbalance some of the more colorful terms we see here.
