Hello. I've had my girl in 12/12 for two months as of yesterday. She's getting ready to harvest soon I think, but today I check her out and I noticed all these new little ball/teardrop shaped objects showing up on the buds.
Now, this plant has shown no signs of hermie in the past, and I've not seen any of those "bananas" so I hope she's not turning hermie now... But I don't know what it is I'm looking at here. They really seem to me to be seeds, though theres no way it could have been fertillized. (there are no other plants around it, much less a male) Will a mature female produce unfertillized seeds?
They look like little buds, but not like anything else on the plant. Also, they have a bit of liquid inside them (maybe because they're brand new?) I don't know what to identify them as. Are they new pollen sacs? (Damn I hope not) Some of them have little orange/brown hairs, like the rest of the plant - but the pods do stand out visually from the rest of the plant.
Someone mentioned that they might be a last ditch effort by a mature female to put out new buds or something? Doesn't make sense to me, but i'd be very happy if it were so.
Thanks in advance for any help.
(BTW, these are the best pictures I can get, so they'll have to do. Please read my description for more information - I'll try to answer any other questions you may have)
