I need suggestions on growing height.

I have 4 NLxBB under a 400w at the moment. The plants are in there second week of flowering(about mid week). I have room for 3 foot tall plants and the plants are nearly 4 inches shy of that.

They pretty much have no room to grow upwards unless I bend them downward. Would this be a good move or any other suggestions.

One day they got way to much strecth from moving the light away and im not sure what to do about that.

I can get a picture if needed but I think thats pretty self explainatory.

mount the light on the wall across from the middle of the plants, that will stop the stretch (you're almost through the flowering stretch) leave the light beside them for the rest of their lives(rotate the plants around if you want). You can tie them down-ish (just kinda bend them enough, ya know)

with that side lighting, the leaves will flip and curl trying to catch the "sun", plus you'll get more light to the lower portion of the plants = more even budding.

Just bend them over and tie them down

Just bend them over and tie them down

Dangerous move because of the plants height/maturity/ stage of flower so if you decide to do this ^^^ make sure that its gradual and progressive bending and never more than parallel to the ground.

The NLXBB are tall plabts even though breeder state they may be shorter. I have the NLXBB from nirvana and they didnt stop growing until the last few weeks of flowering...peace out from New Mexico

i recently have been experimenting w/super cropping.....take your lead branch, pinch it 10" from top and fold it over....this is similar to topping in that it encourages undrgrowth, and you still get to keep your main cola.

I would not use a pinch/top technique past the 2nd week BEFORE you induce flowering.
During flower, any training you do must be GENTLE.
