I havn't posted a bulk work thread in a long time and its far time I get on it.

This is our Hybrid Vortex made up of Apollo-13 X Space Queen and she is devistatingly potent while still maintaining that sweet taste of Cindy

My oldest head stash crossed with my new favorite. Both have similar pungent, rotten fruit, baby poo smells. Both carry heavy potency and copious amounts of resins. This combination of Cannabis Freaks wonâ??t win any vigor or yield awards but for serious collectors of recessives this is a must have. Expect weird mutations and incredibly sticky freaks of nature. This hybrid tends to grow like a vine and need serious tending to achieve decent yields. I yielded just over 4 Ounces in soil using lots of plant bondage and training. This strain is offered mainly to collectors who have experienced the high or unique smell of either parent. This is not a strain for someone new to indoor growing or large scale grows looking for big production. It is a strain that with luck you can find a once in a lifetime mom for head stash. Brothers Grimm meet Vic High in a genetic soup that is one for the history books. Look for colas to dreadlock out and almost appear seeded they swell so full.

Once again the reasoning behind why this girl is so special. I tend to keep herb for the enjoyment of the buzz only secondary to the enjoyment of the flavor, so you can probably assume without a reasonable doubt that this pheno tastes great. Secondly this herb has a very unique buzz, which I will try to explain from two peoples point of views. My wife says that this Vortex tastes like a tropical fruit smoothie made with sour cream, I assume she means she finds it has a fruity taste with a sour secondary. Her experience with the buzz is very energetic, she can not smoke anywhere near bedtime as it keeps her mind awake even though her body is drained. Now me, it tastes like Apollo of old with a slight sour undertone, for anyone who had the pleasure of growing or smoking real Apolloâ?¦. very apollo â?�YOU DIGâ?�. I find the buzz to be very heady and quite effective for reliving aches, make sure munches are available because your stomach knows not the powers of Vortex. This Vortex Phenotype is not a huge yielder, and will not win any beauty contests thatâ??s for sure but for someone who has a connoisseur palette the genetic makeup of Vortex makes for some mighty stony, awfully tasty herb, Peace and keep well.

I will never get tired of experimenting with genetics I tell you. I have been smoking Apollo-13 for a very long time and I really never thought it could be improved but I was hoping to at least offer a very close replication. Little did I know I would be creating a strain that would achieve top 5 status with me starting only 5 seeds to locate 3 amazing female each worthy of Elite status. Ok I think I have got my point across Vortex is bad ass and if youâ??re a Grimm lover this ones right up your alley.

Now Tinybomb is still what I consider to be the best reefer I ever grew but this Vortex phenotype we call Cosmos is much easier to grow and has many of the same traits I like in Tiny. She is very fast finishing under 8 weeks and unlike Apollo-13 she supports her own buds without problems. This particular girl started fading about day 40 and she has continued a nice even fade just like you want to see reducing the chlorophyll as she approaches maturity. It was about day 30 into the last batch that I figured out when I smoked from this jar I lost track of time and spent a lot of time playing Video games and watching Dvdâ??s. I found it hard to focus and it didnâ??t take a lot of bowls to cause this effect.

She is slow in veg producing lots of head sites in just one topping and not stretching very much at all she could use a head start next to strains like JC and Tiny but sheâ??s not as slow as Urkle. I may run her un topped this next run and see what kind of tree I can make out of her.

This is the most Apollo-13 like plant I have ever seen and she is so good I can now just run Apollo for seeds and use this girl as head stash.

I picked up some samples of this strain while down in Nocal and while I like it alot more than Pure TW it didn't impress me enough to work with it.
Very stoney though.

As good as JC bx was, I learned a lot in 6 years breeding and growing almost full time and I was confident I could find a better male using patterns to find the recessive drug traits. So instead of continuing a cube I wasnâ??t 100% satisfied with the outcross I decided to start again using two different lines to establish the best. JTR is the first outcross to be completed using a Spacequeen male; the second will be a Cindy99 outcross. The goal here is to establish the best possible outcross to cube back to JCf1. The cool part is the outcrosses are sometimes better than the parent strains, I feel this is the case with JTR. The Lemon tart of JC has combined with the candy mango flavor of the Spacequeen to create a resinous marvel. Maintaining JCâ??s heavy structure and potency the female dominated this cross with the exception of adding some sweet mango flavor and smoothing out JCâ??s harsh toke. Many people who have smoked the JC dom pheno and JC in the same sitting claim the JTR is better.
