i am growing in a window well, my plants are about 3-4 weeks old, i dug up the rocks in the window well and put the plower pot inside the hole, when suddenly an avalanche of small rocks rolled over my plants!!! they are broken at the bottom not severed however just laying unsupported. i put more dirt on the base to hold them up. Please help are my babies gonna live???

First to get a better response i would put this in the growing part of this forum, just my two cents.

But my opinion is if they are treated like angles, get plenty of light, and are supported the right way, I think they will survive. I have personally seen a person almost completely break of a branch and somehow it survived. I think you not only have to be at the top of your game, but I think you have to be a luck bloke to pull this off.

i replanted them and they seem ok, how long do you think it will take to recover?

i transplanted some a week or so ago... i broke ones stem, didn't sever it, but you can plainly see a 'break' i faced it towards the light best i could, it's still alive, starting to regain it's standing ability, just kinda slowed it's growth...

It should be ok. But it'll slow down in growth for a few days as it recovers from the shock, and rebuilds it's strength. Fingers crossed it doesnt turn hermie. Treat them like angels and they should hopfully repay you. goodlucl./

You are growing in a window? So does that mean your plants are tall and lanky? That may be one reason why they/it broke so easily. You most likely need more light, bro. Good luck with your plant. Post pics, please. :)

the pics wont be good, because the only camera i can use is my camera phone with low quality. and ya it is kinda tall and thin but it gets a good ammount of light. with these i kinda wanted to do the natural thing and its not a window, its a window well. you know the basement windows that are dug down. so its exposed to all natural environment. its now day 2 and my two little injured brotheren are starting look a little better. still need extra dirt to stand but they havent turned at all brown, and one drfinately grew a lil despite the break.

I hate when I break plants... The other day a small fan i had above the canopy fell and wiped out 4 main branches!!! I was pissed then I cried... then smoked a bowl and forgot all about it:stoned:
