now that i have it fig out,,,man,,i just really dont know how to act on when i mess up,,i am new,,i have this freaking puter that i paid a arm and leg for,,i now have to much security shutdowns,,,i have high speed internet,,that comes with all kinds of shit,,so when ever i go into something i dont understand,,it asks me to do shit,,i just shut down,,,hell,,thats better than going to puter doc,,,i spent alot of money at puter doc,,now i havent spent crap in over 7 months,,,(HSI),,so,,now the true answer of the day is,,im scared,,,,,yes,,im scared to do that,,i think im to old for that stuff(hence)chat,,i have been thinking about it,,i have,,,i cant type for shit,,my arthrites bothers me sometimes,,so i get a little mad at times,,,,,and shit,,what do i talk about,,my life story,,well be here foreever and a year,,ill get in there,,,thanks,,,,,,,Jack

I think it's interesting that this board is made up of so many different personalities. There's the very social ppl that are in chat everyday, there's all the ppl in between and the ppl that are wary of chat. I've only been in chat, like 10 times max in the 9 months I've been here. Maybe I need medication, but chat to me seems like a party and I've been invited but am terrified to go because, "Oh, God, I have to talk to ppl...." I have "stranger phobia", I guess. I could never go into chat and introduce myself to screen names I didn't know...I only go in when I know other ppl in there that make me feel comfortable. Is that weird?

No, not weird at all.

I'm the opposite, much more comfortable in chat than on the board. When posting I find I type, read, delete, type, re-read, delete etc. and still I'm not 100% happy with what I've written. In chat I type, it's gone, no time to review or tidy it up and I prefer it that way

I do the same thing. Half the time I end up not posting the reply by the time I am done working it out.

I chat when I have free time. Some times thats a lot some times very little to none.
