Well, I think I'm finally going to do the smart thing and invest in a scale. Because for years I've not known if I'm being ripped off or not (if I was, it was never obvious, though). I want to know that I'm getting at least 3.5g in an 1/8th, or 14g in a half-ounce, etc.

What do you all think is the best scale to buy? And as always, money IS an object :). $35-$60 is my price-range. What would you all recommend? Of course, I could go a little bit over $60, but nothing too drastic.

Thanks in advance :).

Goto ebay and punch digital scale into the search function and then buy yourself a .99ยข with $12.95 shipping scale. They are cheap and pretty damn accurate.

I bought a Fuzion at my Selective Video for $25. Works great, never had any problems. I also tried buying one off of Ebay but the dick head never sent it to me after I sent the payment. Just go to your local smokeshop and buy one.

I just bought a scale from ebay just now. 20.89 including priority shipping. I need it cause i'm picking up an Oz on Friday, and I wanna be sure i'm not being ripped off. Even if I do trust the guy.

Just get something inexpensive off of ebay. Most are pretty accurate, at least accurate enough for weed. Unless you're planning on dealing coke or meth there's no reason to spend a fortune on a scale.

best scale to buy? one that works. you can check to see if any scale is accurate by weighing a dollar bill(american) should come out to exactly 1.0 grams

Don't get sucked in by the "high end" scales man, I got a fusion one for 25 bucks from a head shop in Toronto and it works great and came with a weight for calibration

Well this was my latest and last scale purchase. It is a food scale but can be used for anything else. It is made by SALTER they have been making scales for over 300 years, and there's a lifetime warranty. Heres the good part>. It can weigh GRAMS/OZ/LBS. It is so accurate! It can weigh from 1 gram to 11 lbs. Yes 11lbs! Here's mine is the picture below.

They make other models too> Salter - Salter Scales, Salter Kitchen Scales, Salter Scale, Salter Aquatronic Scale, Salter Glass Kitchen Scales, Salter Housewares, Salter Digital Scale, Salter Cooking Scale, Salter Baker's Scale (http://www.cutleryandmore.com/salter.htm)

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what you can find around the house that measures out to 200 grams? My friend got a good scale but it didn't come with a calibration weight.

I Would ratcher my scales to be to .1 of a gram not to the nearest gram.

I need to recalibrate my scales but i dont know how to and i cant find a manual online anywhere :( i can get it to come up on2 the calibration screen but then if i hold zero it cums up with all these numbers and i put 150g on it and press cal then it cums up with 150g and then ses pass but then when i go to test it with a penny that i know is either 3.4 or 3.5g it cums up with 8.4 so im not sure what im doing wrong :)

wow i went on abit there lol im stoned ::bonghit:

Well that's why you buy more weed to weigh! J/K I mostly use it for ounces to lbs. and use my smaller scale to weigh 0.1
