how do u germinate seeds

im just now starting to grow it will be outside how would i go about germinating seeds

Just keep the seeds between two pieces of wet paper towel, keep em in a dark warm place. Then just wait till you see the taproot come out, and then plant the seed taproot facing down.:jointsmile:

i soak my seeds over night in water (16-18 hours) and plant with the point end up 1/2 to 3/4 inch in the soil and never any problems. the soaking speeds things up.

Paper Towel method for me doesn't work! I have no idea what I've done wrong. Now, just planting them in rockwool cubes, with 1/2 inch of 5.5ph water and a bit of Thrive Alive... Bammm... sprout every time!
