Smoking a gravity bong in a pool

Well... i have a friend that says that he takes gravs all the time from his pool and asked me if i wanted to join him but instead we just smoked out of my bong. I didnt think it sounded safe with the chlorine being in the pool and what not. So my question is, is smoking a g bong in a pool safe?

I did that once (note:ONCE) many years ago just to be able to say that I have done a gravity bong out of the pool.
It was fun - I went around all Summer telling my friends, "The other day I smoked my POOL!!"

its fine. i wouldnt want to use pure chlorine in a bong but poolwater is pretty diluted. we made a gravity bong out of a modified 5 gallon watercooler jug so we could swim under it and be immersed in smoke. worked better in theory thn practice... we will probably try to get to do it again.

i think it should be ok. im sure youd be inhaling some miniscule amount of chlorine vapor along with your smoke, but i dont think its enough to worry. you ingest the same chemicals when you swim and accidently swallow the water. i think it would be fine.

it should be ok. The only concern i'd have would be the heat of the smoke reacting with the Chlorine somehow...

the chlorine might not have that much affect on it because the smoke isnt being dragged through the water (unless you have a gbong that filters the smoke through the water) butt i wouldnt do it

I seriously heard that you can die from hitting a grav bong in the pool. Something with the chlorine. I forget where or who told me, but I do remember stashing it in the back of the mind because I knew it may come of use some day. But I'm not sure..

That is probably the greatest idea I have heard in a while. You could turn it upside down and make a bowl into the facuet thing.

The smoke does not pass through the water..its the surrounding air and smoke that you're inhaling. So yes, its safe

not knowing the effects of chlorine and smoke have on each other, i would keep it at a minimum.
