So I'm going to be planting today. I am thinking about turning a lot of it into thc oil. How much butane do you guys think I will need per ounce of bud? Also, does the stuff smell strong? Like, its not dog proof, is it? Any advice is appreciated.

You need an ounce of bud before you have to think about buying butane... You are already counting your chickens... not only have the eggs not hatched, the chickens haven't even fucked yet.

Step one: Plant seeds

Step 2: Grow plants to harvest without killing them

Step 3: Process into oil, bud, hash, bubble, brownies, hell, whatever you like

Step 4: Worry about dogs.

I don't have a car, and have nobody to give me a ride when my plants should be ready. But I have a chance to get all my supplies soon, and I need to know how much I should get assuming most of my plants survive.
I'm planting an assload, and my friend who grows will be helping me, so I'm sure that at least enough will survive to make a decent batch of oil.

I'm not worrying about dogs, I've just been curious if its the thc they can smell or the cannabis plant.

Also, since I posted that, I found a few females that I must have accidentally planted(I used to just throw the seeds in the grass when I was cleaning my bud) so I should have some goodies ready sooner than the ones I am planting today.
