That wouldn't bother me at all. If she were trying to talk down to me, I would be pissed. But if she weren't than I don't see what the big deal is about being called a "boy."
As long as she isn't insinuating I'm immature, I could care less.
I'm a beast of a man!
It depends. If it was meant as a dig, i'd be pissed off.
If it was friendly, it wouldnt bother me.

I wouldn't give two shits. The word "boy" is in no way an insult to me.

i dunno about yal, but i spent all my childhood being told i'm not yet a man, and i'm stil just a kid/boy blah blah blah...
now that i've spent the years growing up to become a man, if it's used as an insult, it is kind of aggervating/angering...

I see what you mean. I was told the same thing when I was growing up. I guess it would be a little aggravating, but in the end, I know I am a man, and that is what counts. I don't need any source of validation from people to tell me what I am and what I am not.

I've been called alot worse than "boy". Wouldn't bother me at all.

Because that would be a terrible thing wouldn't it? I have been called "little boy," for my charm and for my immaturity. Hell, I have been called "baby." Would I get angry? Not at all. If I perceive hostility in the words it is potentially bewildering to me. "Why are you upset?" I always ask that question knowing well that I am constitutionally an inconsiderate asshole but for some reason it remains incognizant until someone brings it to my attention. That is when all hell breaks loose. I lose my mind knowing that I am an asshole...it is not something I aspire to after all. I am no saint but it bothers me to receive satisfaction from putting someone down.

All I got to say is
"I got your boy hanging right here"
It does depend on the context that it is used in...but to call a grown man a boy is derogitory and shows disrespect..
So, No, I fucking hate it.. Always have, always will.

Well my whole adolescent life was spent trying to become and be recognized as a man. Then I got there wayyyy too quick and forgot to have a childhood lol. It depends on my mood more than the context its put in to be honest. One subconscious rule of thumb that my brain seems to go by is if they are younger than me and call me boy just out of habit I will correct them once. Anything else, be it an insulting tone, or if they just call me boy again to be funny just rolls off my back and I go back to whatever it was I was doing.
I laugh when people insult me. For so many reasons. Its just funny. When people (usually testosterone-filled insecure dudes) get too persistant in trying to agitate me, I just find something theyre good at and do it better than them in front of everybody with a smile on my face and a pat on their back. Then I ask them to sit down and sometimes even follow it with a "BOY."
I refuse to let it get physical especially in front of witnesses... Im not trying to get a damn murder charge. One instance I went outside with somebody and told them they could have the first 5 shots. His first punch went towards my face so I just headbutted his fist, which shattered. Then he went inside with a very confused look on his face and had his wife/gf drive him to the hospital lol. Other times when people have swung on me without warning I just punched them square in the fist right at the peak of their punch, which of course demolished and mangled the poor unsuspecting morons hands lol.
