has anyone ever heard of any kind of weed that runs 600 bucks for an oz? my friend says his dad gets this hydro from atlanta that's 600/oz, and he gave me a little bit (like the size of a pencil eraser) and it got me fucked for a good hour or so. it was as green as the cannabis.com logo on the top left of the screen and it was absolutely COVERED in crystals. however, i'm not sure if the price is true. i did the math, and it comes out to 20/gram, and i'd pay it, but i've never heard of anything in our area going for more than 300 an oz.

For 600/O it should last a bit longer, an eraser is the size of a good grav hit, and if I can get baked off 2-3 gravs of mids that cost $75 an O, then $600 dollar an O shit should be able to do the job with 1/3 of that amount, considering its 8 times more expensive.

It is a week and a half's worth of work for that person. An ounce of weed costs me a week and a half's worth or work as well where I'm at. The weed is cheaper, but I make less money because of the cost of living here is cheaper than NYC.

But it is 60 hours of work for an O of that if the person were making 10 bucks an hour. I'm taking into consideration, pay after taxes.

So really when you think of it like that, 600 bucks an ounce is basically the same as what I pay based on cost of living. It actually would come to a little more, but not enough to make a big difference.

The difference would prob be me paying the max for an O here which is $400.

I totally agree with you man. That works out at over £300 and oz!!!! I think oz are too expensive at £140-£150. I can usually get oz for £110-£120. How much do you pay.

I think everyone spends a lot on trees in general, it is cool to grow but I think most people would refrain just because most people these days have too much going for them to risk a felony. Some people make $600 a day, there will always be buyers. Even here in cali with all the medi buds around, it's still quite common too see O's for $500-$600 for the really bomb stuff. I know this sounds insane for the "rest of you", but here in the Bay Area, that is not really out of line assuming you are getting some of the top-end medical grade stuff. This is also the same in LA, NY, and other "pricier" markets. In fact, everything in the Bay Area is pretty expensive, whether it's housing, taxes, or even gas which is currently around $4 /gallon here at many stations.

I'm quite familiar with people like that. It's likely they get it for $300-$400 or so, and they're gonna make big bank off of you just because it's good stuff. Tell them that you're going to talk to this guy who can get it for $350 an ounce cause he gave you a sample and it was just as good if not better than what they gave you.

I wouldn't pay more than $350 ounce for anything, regardless of the strain/smell/taste...that's the limit per ounce, any more than that and they're wanting to make money off of you and it's not worth it.

I never took street economics in high school, but... theoretically speaking, with the huge population, amount of gang activity and all the drug trafficking that both NY and LA have, wouldn't you think there'd be a lot of competition and LOWER prices than say, here in Cincinnati when you can get an ounce of BC for only 400?

Although, I've heard numerous times that it's extremely hard to find a weed dealer in LA since everyone there pretty much only gets fucked up on nose candy(moreso than alcohol, too, LA's a bad city).. but I would think NYC would have lower prices than that.
