ok...so my plants were bout 12 in. tall when i started 12/12 last friday...they're in 9 in. pots but i'm utilizing my space in order to rid the males before transplanting into bigger pots...my plants are now very tall with little width...the strain is NLx which states it will reach for the sky...i've topped but they're still gaining great height with lil width...is this normal or is it because of the small pots...i only have 9 square ft..started with 12 plants (very close together) and today pulled 5 males...will they fill in after i transplant the remaining girls to 16 in. pots? thanks

what kind of light you using and how far away is it?
some plants will strech 2 - 3 times the height they started at
others wont stretch at all. are your temps high? that will cause it too

man I need a camera. Pics are by far the easiest way to get your problems fixed seeing as describing what it is doing can be a little harder to picture. That and there are several things that can cause the same results and only a picture could help differentiate the problems... I sound smart.

i justed switched from mh to hps for flowering...temps are pretty good (between 70-76) and 60 degrees during the nite cycle...strain is NLx which states it can triple...my question is because it is sativa dominant is that why it's not bushy? Its a NL x WW cross that reaches for the sky...i've topped and tried bushmaster on 1 of the plants...any ideas

i've been using humboldt's bushmaster for bout 2 weeks and vertical growth has stopped with great sidebranching...i highly recommend this product to those struggling with height problems...5 ml per gallon and after 3 days of watering no more vertical growth...then nodes seem to form closer and many more nodes appear...side growth in week 2 really starts to kick in and 2 of my plants look really bushy...gonna up the dosage on the other to get the same results...good luck all with height problems...i'll get some pics to show the width and depth of the plants soon! they really are looking fantastic for a first grow
