cleaning questions

okay, so i scraped out my glass spoon the other day and got just about all of it out, except for the areas of the bowl i couldn't reach with a paper clip.

what kind of household cleaner (windex, ajax, etc.) would i be able to use on it & get it all out? would i even be able to do that and it still be okay to smoke out of? i'd wash it out REALLY well, of course!

any ideas? i need responses as soon as possible :thumbsup:

The thing to do the glass pieces that is way easy and works perfect, is just put it in your dish washer. It will come out looking like a new piece. Good Luck!

alcohol and table salt for small bowls alcohol and rock salt for bongs.......oh yeah never use pinesol in your bowl....i did it once and the smell was in the glass after washing it with alcohol all i could taste in a bowl was pinesol lol not the lemon kind either this blue beachy one...

Rubbing alcohol, salt and a ziploc bag.

if you use any method listed so far no you won't be able to smoke the left over resin... i usually just leave htat resin there (well back when i didn't use the boiling method) i like dirty pipes, the only reason i celaned 'em was to smoke resin (i like dirty pipes cuz it gives the pipe character and really brings out the colors and patterns...)

btw if you use any cleaner you definately won't be able to smoke it...

you could let the pipe soak in pure alcohol for awhile, shake it, and soak some more til all the resin is out, and just pour the liquid in a shallow wide container (A bowl for instance) and let the alcohol evaporate naturally, then you'll be able to scrape up the resin and smoke it....

Slips guide is awesome, check the stickys, but if you don't wanna smoke it use alchohol and table salt because it's easier.

nah, i don't really care about saving the resin. imma quit for awhile anyway. i've really been spending way too much cash on weed lately, so i'm going to be responsible and fix myself up before i smoke anymore. today is my last day.

anyway, i just tried the alcohol and salt in a ziploc bag and shook it up n everything, but the alcohol like dissolved the bag and it started making holes and tearing apart.

i'm probably just gonna take a hot plate up to my room later tonight and boil it or something :p
