HELP!Last.Week.of.Flower,1.Out.of.4.Main.Colas.Wil ting!

OK.so.this.is.only.happening.to.one.main.cola.on.o ne.plant..
She.is.50.days.into.flower.and.it.is.time.to.cut.h er.tops.down.and.give.the.bottoms.a.chance.to.matu re..
This.is.just.happening.today..I.checked.the.stem.a ll.the.way.up.and.found.no.kinks,bends,collapses,o r,splits..
The.wilting.is.happening.to.the.whole.branch..
The.rest.of.the.plant.is.beautifully.maturing.asid e.from.a.few.past.pH.and.adjustment.problems.which .required.alot.of.flushing..
1.week.ago.I.thinned.out.bottom.branches.and.buds.
pH.is.6.8..Temp.79..Humidity.40..

I'm.cutting.the.whole.bud.down.to.trim.and.dry.bef ore.it's.to.bad.But.still.need.to.know.what.it.is. because.there.are.still.6.plants.sharing.the.same. room.with.the.rest.of.the.plant.as.the.ther.brache s.finish.up..

looks to me like some fungus or some such thing is burrowing into the base of the stem of that cola? that black spot? meh, i really can't tell

crissy i posted some suggestions in your other thread , if you maximize those pics onequickmove theres no black spot. I think it is a problem with the branch receiving h2o.

About your keyboard crissy is the spacebar is messed up you could take it apart and clean of the plastic thats in between the keys and the electronics and it should work or stop sticking. Ive had to do that to mine a few times lol.

There's.no.fixing.this.keyboard.I've.tried.so.many .times..Had.anther.one.that.replaced.this.one.at.o ne.point..But.Kiana.kept.pulling.it.down.and.one.t oo.many.times.and.I.lost.half.my.alphabet..

I.trimmed.the.branch.down.and.have.more.pics.to.pu t.up.soon..It.looks.like.mould.or.mildew.at.the.ba se..

Chrissy i have no idea what would cause that but cut it off and hopefully it wont spread.Chrissy i have an extra keyboard if u want it we can hook up at the hydro store ill be going there monday afternoon i was going to throw it out but its yours if u want.

Boy I don't know what that is either but that particular spot in that stem certainly doesn't look at all healthy. Wish I had something to offer but no..

From.over.flushing.and.always.being.submerged.righ t?(We.needed.a.16.hour.constant.drip.to.flush.a.pH .fuck.up.at.one.point..Before.that.They.were.flush ed.every.week.with.feed.for.about.3.weeks..I.reall y.fucked.things.up.but.know.better.now)

stem rot comes from overwatering and can also happen when you plant..it happens when you allow a puddle to collect at the base of the plant at the stem.....using peat helps with this....

sorry it happened.....good thing is, i bet you wont make the mistake again...the best part about growing is learning...

The.rest.of.the.stem.looks.fine..and.he.lower.buds .need.time.to.mature.a.little.more.So.I'll.let.the m.fill.in.and.at.the.first.sign.of.stem.rot.spread ing.I'll.take.the.rest.down..

weed, thanks for the nice words....i was worried how id be received in this forum section...glad to know someone doesnt mind....lol....but the question...kind of....a plant can only absorb so much, so it will let the rest sit, and then it sits in the water collected, and that is pretty much the end of that....planting in a cup, peat, pearlite, can all make sure this happens rarely, if ever...i prefer peat really.....if i am right, damping is more within the soil, and this is from the top of the soil moreso...
