European closet just finished over a weekend and startet up the 1. batch 9/5-07

hi everyone heres my 1. tribute to your site from Denmark, i will try to answer all questions and i will sure enough have som myself...
i started some week ago by finding a nice just hidden place, not to far from where i live.
Then i got all the suplies i needed and startet pulling out shelfs and scrues and all other not needed materiel from the closet, then i driled holes or a big hole in top of the closet for the fanexhaust, then washing it down with "antibacteri wash" some highclass stuff they use on the hospitels here. with building silicone i then air thightend all craks and holes ONLY THOSE NOT NEEDED:stoned: , washed it again and put up the mylair with ducttape and clamps puled the wirering and booya here weed come:D
Drumroll.....its the 11-05-07 AND IM A DAD the 1. K2 out of 8 planted the 9-05-07 stuck its tiny leafs up today at 4pm eu time. DAMED CANT UPLOAD MY PICKS

info on the closet: used ca. 600usd for a 400w starters kit with a sound-protected exhaustfan and all other materials used are all included.
(the fans just built in thicker materials so it wont bother anyone els around the 1 room flat)
build time ca. a weekend, theres room for 24 plants
this batch contains, 8 K2`s, 8 white widow`s and 8 ice all planted from seeds in soil and gain nutrience by hand/water not automated yet.
we do a cupple of crops by soil then we switch to a hydrophonics system.

hi all.
Both the k2 and ww have shown themselfs after a cupple of days, so now its just the ice im wating for.
its bin 6 days (getting worryed)
does anyone know if this is a slow grower or do i need to alter somthing heat lights ect..

they all get 400w light 16 houers of light a day- heat 27c and hp on 6.2 with nuts?

its past the 25. day and the k2 i could set to flower at this stage, but as the whit widow and ice came up 10 and 18 days later, and they all grow in the same space i wait until they all have reached the flower.
"info" i dont know what happende with the first ice i planted they newer showed themselfs, so i bought new seed and planted instead thats why they where so late. but heres a thing i dont know should i start giving them the ekstra flower combo neutrience now or wait until i set the lights on 12/12 ? all plants seem healthy and fine nice thick straight stems already a finesmel and sticky leafs. some of them show just a bit of lightgreen/white leaftips could this be from lack of neut?? i post the new pics later today

heres some new picks. i got the answers, regarding neut and flower stage, i keep on feeding neut normal untill all of them goes into the flower the stage, and yes i can wait turning down the houers´12/12 its only the size of my grow space that stops me. its startin too look real good in my own opinion:thumbsup:

thats gonna get real crowded in there real quick
also hps lights are not recommended for sprouting seeds, i noticed they sprouted already but for the record i would use fluros next time at least till they get theyre first set of nodes
the lights are just entirely to intense for that young of a plant

at the beginning i wanted too put in 2 normal 150w grow lights one on each side of the 400w and 1 fluo at the back, for when they are seedlings, but i had no green at the time so i will wait untill my next grow and the the heat i notist early on, if you see one of the first pics- the temp are 88,8 not good :wtf: but i raist it a good 10-15 inch so now it should be ok
and space yeahh all growers could do with a big ass farm lol

fo sho keep the heat low a 400w hps is a whole lotta heat for sure
i was just worried about space cause thats 24 plants? in a very small room and only 1 hps
a 400watt is alot of power but 24 plants will get huge
i guess you could consider the males to tho which will prolly bring the # of plants down a tad

yea its prob the heat from the 400w that burned the frst ice crop.
and theres only 22 left of the 24 i strated with that helps a bit, and theres the 2 stages that i now of: when it starts flowering and a bit in the floworing stage when theres a chance tor males or herms.
but it looks all right for now and my own guess would be, that when all is ready for harvest theres 17-20 good plants left.
with a bit of cation and daly care taking i will get those barstard lol.
thaught about getting a cultivator box with an arophonics setup, for cuttings/clones and get some experience on that issue found some holding from 12-30 clones and if done right they spit out fresh clones in 7-10 days

do you have any form of CO2 in this grow?
only thing that worries me is the most plants i've ever seen grown under 1 400w hps is like 12 fully budded plants, and that was definetly a crowd
my suggestion would be to get bout 5 or 6 mother plants and just clone those, keeping the mother plants under say a...250watt metal halide and rooting the clones using T5 high output flouros DONT USE A HPS TO ROOT CLONES btw
also those cultivator boxes get real expensive youd prolly be better off just growing the clones in dirt for a few times till u research aeroponics more and are able to build one yourself
aeroponics/hydroponics or anything related to that matter is tedious work and takes careful cautioning cause one problem that could only have hours to fix could ruin your whole crop
and building your own aeroponics system would save cash in your wallet definetly
but clones are the way to go, high yeilds in smaller spaces, you might want to research Scrog (screen of green) to as that will increase yeilds alot by concentrating the light onto a canopy.

no co2 just dirt, lights, exhaust fan and a fan for venting the plants, and canna terra vega and flores nuetrience and some exstra nuet for the first week of flower stage caled pk 13-14
the ida was to get to know more on plants how they would grow idoor in dirt an to se how they do under different setups and ways to grow.
cut/trim different sektions of the stem when its in growth stage and se how it would reakt to it: small growth, bigger buds, more buds, stronger thc and so on and so on.
then use that info on an hydrophonic or airophonics setup and do the same there until i find the setup that gives me the most rappedly and biggest.. ehhh lets just say "pleasure" under the giving space and sercumstances.
i smoke every day and thats quite ekspensiv i pay round 35-50 dkkr for a gram of hash here and about half for pot skunk

its like 7-10 $ a gram i know the prices are much higher in the stats but im use to the prices here and if i can save some of my hard erned cash darned if i would miss that opportunety

the rest started to look like real plants, so i set the lot into flowering face last night. lights 12/12 and a change in neutrience

(hade a divers coures that lasted till 01.00am)
i woke up to a sad sight....
no light from my 400w hps
it blew some time during the night amd it was brand new only used on this grow......AAAARRGHHHHH
here i go as fast i can to my grow shop GOD DA... the shop dont open untill 3pm eu time and the plants have been without lights, god nows how long....hmm roll up smoke wait wait smoke some more
at last got the 400w hps for free, the shopowner just looked at me and remmembers me at once and said your absolutly right
it must be some sort of malefunktion and gave me a new:)
so the money i brought
(incase he was a complet retard)
i jused to buy a new 400w sun master metal halide for next grow
came home late hade some things to do, changed the hps and hope they didnet suffer too much damage....

to day i have a positive id on 15 female`s and 4 males
i pulled up and dissposed the males before they pollinate the rest of the females
there are still 4 plants left i cant tell the sex on yet
but in a day or 2 they will prob show.

out of 24 seeds planted thats allright. (niravarna seeds)

does anyone have an ida on a good easy way to make hash that gets as mutch thc with it posible it should be less flameable than the once with alcohol, dubbleboilers and icebaths???

my plan is first to seperate the chrystals then take a few of the best buds for my own stash and make hash of the remains.

i mostly smoke the dark sticky easy to mix
(when they have been hand warmed first they use to be rock hard at first)
im lookin to make something like afgan, black marrocan or pollen somting like that colud do and only those of high thc levels

thanks BUT its nothing compared to your OD Grow Damd...have been sneakin a peak her and there of your 2nd 3rd grow...the most i ever had was 250 on a field in dk, only 20 of those where puled up as they where males but we only had 5 strains or so but we had weed blown out our ears:jointsmile:

dispite the minor probs with:

wrong lights
(used hps for the intire grow)

heat
(i had the lights to close for a few days when they where seedlings)

replant
(all 8 of the ice where replanted about 13 days in, couse they never came up the ground)

lack of light
(a lightbulb blew and they where whitout lights/heat for nearly a day)

lack of space 15 females left out of 24:wtf:
(if all 24 had been females they would prob have suffecated each other)

im fairly happy whith the near end result would have guessed on a bit mor females but i get em with my next grow.

now its just sweeeeet wait`n time then just dry and roll`up...

BTW there are about 7 hermes in there asswell but these are sepparated by a section of thin plywood ( i want the seeds )

nice crop and good to see another english person on here doing well. if i were you i would have taken cuttings from the plants before you flowered them label em all up and you can pick your next crop from the cuttings, the cuttings will be exact clones of their mother plant. try sticking to 4 plants per 1m2 this gives the plants the space they need.

i would of taken cuttings but discided to wait untill the next grow then i try out that airophonics cloning box i discribe some where above in my thread.
its not that ekspensive, found one that would suite my grow perfectly and its only about 200$ and all i need for it is neuts and lights the rest is inkluded.
and yeah i got to cheacky only thinkin on THA BIG YEILD:D i will only go for half next time and when i clone only place the amount the closet holds

and the result of this grow, in my own opinion is in the better end of medium...but ask again when i test/smoke the thc level in it:D

when all is dryed in 3 weeks time i will start up a new growlog with the strains ice and white widow and one other!?
but from another seedbank and it will be fermeniced seeds they are about dubble the price of what the others i jused costs but if i can get a few more girls itr would be ok.

Damn i frose some of my finished ww buds the other day.
I then made crystals of it, with a home made shaker...and that shit hits me harder than some of the best hash you can buy here.

they where stressed out due to all sorts of problems, so i dident get that much on this grow and i haven had it on a scale yet
so my guess would be around 400-500g its ok but not what i had expected (had my hopes up for a bit more)

i wouldnt say thats bad grow at all a fairly good yield including this was ur first time in this setup correcT?...buds look fairly tasty and if for personal use more than enuff to last quite some time...btw that joint you pictured earlier looked great...what is that your using as a roach and where can you come across one, ive been smoking for almost 8 years and have yet to see one of them being used

yes its my first and as you apply its only for personal use.

its got a realy powerfull sweet sent to it and tastes sort of a mix betwen pineapples, honey and something more i cant quite tell... but its alot better than most of the weed you can get at the local daelers here

the roachtip is made in merschum
(hand carved by me and iced out by a local jeweler)
you can get em in allmost every skandinavian and european headshops/hydroshops...

they are to find in almost any sort of wood, stone, glass.
lengths from 1 to 10 inches and varies in prices from 4$-20$
could be as ekspensive as 200$ if you get mammoth ivory tusks

but be shure that its legal tusks or els you can be fined for illigal imports of ivory and probobly helped kill an elefant!
(had to mention it most peppole dont know)

a long pipe benefits becouse it chills the hot smoke at the end so you dont get a lip burn when tokin the last bit:thumbsup:
