Uhhh...do you mean you cant get high if you have a filter cause it blocks the THC or what? Cause I have smoked with filters and you still get high. I just dont know what you mean by that haha.

The filters do filter out some of the chemicals along with some of the tar, but you loose such a small amount it doesnt really make any differnce - you'll still get fucked [if it's good gear] Also i would have thought it'd be a smoother hit. But if you dont wanna loose anything at all, filters arnt the way to go.

I could see a tobacco like filter taking out some goodness, but if the filters you mean are those little pices of cardboard you fold up in the end of the joint, then no, of course that won't take away any goodness. It's cardboard :p
