View Full Version : Registration Activation Email Problems...

It appears some folks are experiencing problems with activating their account.

1. Some folks are not receiving the activation email at all.

* We will adjust our email server configuation to ensure our mailer domain's PTR and forward records match. That alone should greatly help.

* Consider using a different email address for registration. Hotmail and Yahoo email addresses are natoriously unreliable.

2. Some folks claim to receive the activation email, but are unable to complete the verification process.

* Close and exit all web browser windows and retry.

* Be sure session cookies are enabled (they typically are by default).

* If running a firewall, temporarily lower the security settings and retry.

Hope that helps...

Ron

Some free mail services route some email automatically to other folders.

If your email service has a Spam or Junk folder, please be sure to check those as well.

Yahoo users who have not received their email yet, please be sure to check your Bulk email folder.

* We will adjust our email server configuation to ensure our mailer domain's PTR and forward records match. That alone should greatly help. The above email configuration adjustment has been completed - this will greatly improve the odds of registration email being properly routed to one's IN box instead of their Spam / Junk / Bulk folder(s).

Please be sure your email address is typed correctly, so that you may receive email with your activation code and confirmation.

New unconfirmed accounts with wrong email addresses, regretfully, are deleted. For operational reasons, we will not update email addresses for unconfirmed accounts - no exceptions.

In short, please take the few extra seconds to ensure your email address is correct to begin with when registering.

Thanks!

Ron

I registered using a Yahoo account too. I waited for like half an hour for the message before I realized it was sent to my bulk folder.
