So the time is here again, like it or not. So whats everyones thoughts on bathing suits this year? Getting new ones? Going to the beach? Or do you just completely HATE bathing suits in general?
I'm getting this brown one from American Eagle. This will be the first time in about 3 years since i've worn one. But I figure since I lost all that weight it will be a nice reward for my hard work.

I'm just worried about finding something with a really good built in bra, I hate having a bathing suit with no support

Here ya go... it's about time to replace my old one which is getting ratty.
The water is not for sitting next to, it is for playing in.

Katy: I like the scarlet one with the side ties.. very retro, very hot.
Reb: Most wetsuits are pretty buoyant... if you can so much as dog paddle, you can swim in one. Male (and skinny female, lol) triathaletes wear them because they have too low body fat and tend to sink, which creates drag and slows them down. The suit makes you float pretty nicely. I don't even wear a life vest windsurfing any more. (yes I know it's asking for trouble, hush)

You windsurf? Sweet jesus! I'd be scared out of my mind! haha

Windsurf, kayak, sail, and a bit of whitewater canoeing- I actually feel safer in a canoe in nasty water for some odd reason.
Windsurfing is relaxing when you're on still water, just a little rough on the triceps the first few times out, lol!!! And shins, if you're as clumsy as I am. But I can't imagine ANYONE being as clumsy as me! :D

I have a really adorable one piece with pink polka dots on black, it gives me MASSIVE cleavage as well, it's got a low-ish cut with a hoop in the middle of my bewbies. I have another one almost the same in green/different print. I'm looking a few victoria secret ones, i'll post pics later.

I got myself a new one-piece. Pink floral and with a scoop neck and a scoop back. It's called the Women's Regular Orchid Beauty tugless tank, and it's from Land's End. I wish they'd had a corresponding blue floral, which is my preference. I like them to be in the same blue hue as pool water, for some reason. Maybe because they look good in the water or seem to fade out less noticeably. But they only had pink in this model.
I always get them from Lands End. Two pieces don't stay on me, and I'm too old for one of those anyway. The only sad thing is the fact that I never fill the top of a suit very well. I don't need anything but flimsy "shelf" bra in a swimsuit, and even then there's plenty of "give" up top. Maybe in another life I'll be voluptuous . . . .

I'm the type who hates swim wear. I've been losing weight and toning up but the work is only showing for my upper body so far. Maybe next year (thats what I tell myself every year).

Sam does not wear bathing suits, she does not go in the water. Which is weird, I live on a harbor.

Dude, f'real, wtf Skink. You know I'm a woman. Are you saying I'm a gay dude, or a lesbian? And anyway, are you insinuating there's a problem with that? Christ, you KNOW I'm dating a man, you've probably banned his ass yourself at least once. Sorry I can't appreciate the musclebound look. Mmmm let's all hear it for poking ourselves in the arse with a needle.

Well.. I lost the weight.. it took me 2 years but I am 70 pounds less.. I upgraded saggy boobs for silicone ones last year. I started buying victoria's secret string bikinis and I have 7 of the same one in different colors/patterns. I have been doing 2 hours of spinning class per day for the past few months so my body is nice and tone. BF gets out of school on 6/20 and we are headed to the beach 6/21. Were going to CA and he gets to experience San Onofre state beach (yes the nudie part) :hippy:
