Who do you picture when you are thinking about Americans? The Gobernator (Arnold Schwarzenegger) in California? George W. Bush?
I think my view of the English came not from when I went there when I was 6, but when I watched "About a Boy."

Definitely that's one stereotype that springs to mind, along with small town small minded christians arguing for creationism, gun nuts going postal and dubya looking so painfully stupid as he addresses the American people.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
"U.S.A, U.S.A, U.S.A, U.S.A"
The hillbillys that live in cardboard houses.
Cletus from the simpsons.
Thinking about it, the words America, or American have alot of bad connotation.
