got my med cert in socal; i'm a chronic lyme disease patient, with a number of symptoms applicable to MJ: pain most of all, then OCD, insomnia, anxiety, and depression

anyway, only $100 all told, great doc (jimenez), gave me some interesting insight on my condition also and where to seek out an infectious disease specialist in socal

so, monday night when i got it, called up local delivery service and got some og kush, master kush, and trainwreck; very overpriced but was eager and will be growing soon enough

and here's the real trick: monday night was the first time i ever smoked weed in my life; used a bong i got recently; was pretty out of it all through yesterday and most of today; things i like a lot, some things i didn't (a little paranoia and scary brain images, but not too bad); i think this plant has a lot of potential to be part of my life, though i'm definitley going to be seeking ways to make it more mellow; maybe some tea or something

anyway, here i am y'all :)

Pot is really only intense when you first start smoking it (or for some a little after you first start smoking it..depending on if you're capable of taking substantial hits yet or not)..as your tolerance builds up though you'll find that you feel less crazy and more just mellow...I've been smoking everyday throughout the day for about a year..and pot really doesn't do much to me anymore except kill my feelings of boredom and chill me out...

I have had a friend though that smoked some Afgoo kief with me...he NEVER smokes...he's smoked like 3x in his life and they were all with me...anyways, he took two hits and held his breath as long as he could..man he was wrecked..i've never seen anyone react that way to weed...he was petting walls, making weird noises, passing in and out..he threw up..etc...and I was just sitting there laughing my arse off the whole time at him (haha)...anyways..moral of the story- don't judge the effects of weed by how you react when you first start smoking, because thats the only time it will be like that...the rest of your life when your tolerant to it, it's just a nice way to mellow out:)

First time smoking, huh? Man, I hope you have an all night store or fast food place near your home - you're gonna need it! LOL

only $100? That's pretty good, every doc I've checked out seems to charge $150 and up, I'm paying $150 for my appointment soon.

How much did you spend from the dispenserary if you don't mind me asking? I'm hoping to be able to make a trip next weekend, (not interested in home delivery, I want to see all they got :) ) I read a rolling stones article some time ago and they talked about all sorts of high quality stuff, they didn't give the name, but that's the kinda place I wanna check out!
