So yeah. I just planted 6 seeds outside friday. First time growing, mostly to see if I can do it. They're not even really good seeds.

But anyway I planted them in the ground yesterday, which would be tuesday. (and yes I known you're supposed to grow them a little inside for a little while until they're a certain size but I don't have that option)

I was just wondering; the forecast says thunder and lightning storm on friday. My plants being in the ground only 3 days, will this fuck them up? Overwater them? Anything like that?

Thanks in advance for any help.

if they haven't germinated yet, they'll probably be fine because a seed needs to be moist in order to germinate

Not necessarily, unless you had a flood. The water can easily seep far beyond the germinating seeds, and won't flood them. Also, there isn't as much concentration of water in one single place. The plants are supposed to receive rain, lol. Why do you think plants can grow outside? Because if that were true, you wouldn't see such an abundance of any plant. I'd be worried about having bad soil, actually. Don't worry about the germinating seeds :). You only need to worry about flooding the plants when they're in pots, because the pot will hold the abundance of water in a very concentrated place and basically suffocate the plant(s).

Correct me if I'm wrong, though.
