gonna have to be sticky for me...that tells me it hasn't been sitting around, and it burns much slower than something that's dried out...

however, you put anything in front of me that's worth a shit, it doesn't matter even what it looks like, let alone whether it's sticky or dry, but I'd honestly say it's just got a lot to do with quality to me...if it burns quick but I just have to take a couple tokes, I'll go with that hands down..

i thinks its just a conventional way of thinking...like fruits and vegetables..ppl always look for the fresh smelling nice feeling stuff...so we subconsciously look at bud dat way too...that and sticky icky is just sexxy lol

Well, last week my friend had some pretty dry stuff. I was like "well, it must be some mids or something." Little did I know that I would be very very high. Either way is good, in my opinion. As long as it hits good, tastes good, and is potent, the dryness/stickiness of it doesn't matter much. Like I said, we thought this stuff was mids, but it was dank. Just cured for a longer time.

I'll take either. But I must admit, I do love those sticky, dense buds, just by nature. But it doesn't have to be super fresh to be sticky. I've had a lot of bud that was sticky, but at the same time kind of dry.

MOBABN is right, though. The longer it's cured, the more the bud gets decarboxylated, which means more THC is "activated" so to speak. So, don't be surprised when that supposed dry bud hits you harder than you thought it would. This is why you cannot smoke freshly harvested bud... not only the fact that it would be very hard to burn, but the fact that it needs to cure for it to reach its full potential of potency. Heating the bud also does the same thing (removes the carboxyl group from the THC), but the more that it is decarboxylated, the more THC that will be in the smoke, and shortly thereafter absorbed into one's bloodstream. Well, that's in a nutshell at least.

I think the term crumbly has a negative vibe from it. I voted crumbly as its easier to crumble into joints, blunts and bongs. Sticky shit is good too, but a bit of a hassle to cut up and stuff but you can't generalise weed like that.

I've had sticky shit and wouldn't smoke it cause it burns too slowly as if it's wet or something. I just leave it in my curing jar over night and its worthy of my lungs the next day.

I cant stand sticky weed. Not only do you loose THC because the trichomes are sticking to everything, it's probably not been cured properly [if at all]. It doesnt grind up properly, it doesnt roll as good.

I prefer my weed to be dry [not dust, but properly dried, and cured for about 3 weeks minimum]

The last time i had some sticky weed was summer last year - it smelled great, and i mean GREAT - and yeah, it got me stoned, but it didnt put up much of a fight against my dry buds.

Not to mention that properly cured weed is better in taste, better grinding, better burning, more evenly burning, better hits and is more potent than fresh weed, or uncured weed.

after you buy the dried bud if you wanna fluff it up

I wasn't expecting such a turn out. I voted "crispy delicious" too. I buy a sack and it usually isn't to my liking, so I leave it out for a few hours and come back to crispy buds that are easier to handle and more delightful to smoke.
